Damn Good Foods

Jerky is great, buy it for myself and my daughter. Its really the only jerky i will buy love this stuff!

I consistently order jerky from Damn Good, and am very happy with their products.
The ordering is easy, and communication has always been good. Shipping was fast! I ordered late on Friday, my shipment was sent on Monday!
They run sales now and again and I certainly do stock up to save! I have tried all brands of jerky and this is my favorite by far.

The first time i bought this jerky, i bought and trial pack thing of them. They were very good. So i went and bought more just recently, some for me and some to give as a birthday present to my sister. The jerky was delivered within three days. My problem was that they screwed up my order. I needed it to send to my sister right away therefor the stuff for her all got sent and every thing else i just kept and said the heck with it. I wasn’t going to ship back the wrong stuff and wait another three-​four days for it to come back to me. When i opened the jerky it was very tough and dry. It was not like this when i ordered the trial pack last year. Made me very upset that i wasted $ 35.00 on jerky i could not eat that well. Most of it i gave away and other stuff i threw away. Waste of money. Won’t buy here again.

This will be my third large order and the only thing I have ever found to complain about is that it doesn’t get here fast enough!
Now everyone’s desires and tastes are different, to me I am not as concerned with the ingredients but I also don’t believe this place is one I need to worry about.
I will say that I have spent a lot of time trying beef jerky and I am sure there is a lot more to try but this is my favorite. Every order I make is over 40.00 because I order so much of it.
My favorites are the Hickory and the Western but we have tried many of them. Every bag is sealed and tastes fresh when we get it, the beef jerky lives up to it’s name it really is damn good.
I really have to say with all the choices I have around me I send off for this one every 2 months or so because it is my favorite and well worth the wait. But I think from now on I will be paying for faster shipping.

This company uses deceptive advertising techniques. They make certain claims but notice that they DO NOT show you the ingredients like «high fructose corn syrup». Their ratings are also unusually high. I ordered some items there and was surprised to find that the products were just average. So I gave one of the products a 3-​star rating, with an explanation on why I thought it was only 3-​star.
Of course, the review never made it to the site. If they had put my review up then I would have trusted them with the rankings and tried some of the higher-​ranked items. Now I know those rankings are just selectively picked so that all the products are ranked high.
