Getting away from the cities with a old town feel next to a water front without having to drive 3miles up north that’s exactly what Downtown Stillwater brings you.
Its less then 40min drive from the Minneapolis or St. Paul you can find tons of antique stores, fun knick knack stores with memorabilia for Stillwater and Minnesota in general.
There is something for everyone too a malt shop for those looking for a burger or, sushi and Italian even a wine cave to tour.
If you are bored one weekend and just want to do a day trip make the drive and explore Stillwater!
