great for what it is — quick greasy breakfast! (well not always quick when there is a wait) but get there early and you don’t have to wait in the line.

I just love this place. Its not too fancy, but the food has always been great! Who gives free coffee these days?! Only grannys… we have come by on a couple of Saturdays… packed & folks waiting outside to get in! That should tell you something…:-D

To be honest, the food is more like a 4, but the service, price and atmosphere are certainly worthy of a 5. During the week, if you get your breakfast before 9, your coffee is free when you order an entrée. Be sure to ask for Cassie if you haven’t experienced her service before. She’ll be on the spot when it comes to anything you need and is so full of joy and personality you will leave in a better mood than when you got there. One little thing I’m not a fan of about this place… the construction out front that has the road blocked. This isn’t their fault and is temporary. I’ll live.

I have had lunch here a few times during the week, it is great if you have an hour or so for lunch. Food is standard diner fare, slightly greasy.

Weird place. Layout is odd, we sat in a back room corner that seemed cramped next to the waiter’s drink station. Food was just ok. My friend’s hash browns were incredibly small. Waiter was weird. I’d go back but mainly due to the lack of non-chain breakfast options in Stillwater and I wouldn’t be excited about it.

Good, delicious breakfast food. I’m glad this town has a good place to eat breakfast food. The prices are fair and the plates are full. My biggest complaint is that there is a rude waitress. But luckily enough, I don’t always get her.

This is a great local restaurant that you should try to stop in at if you’re very hungry. They have a great mix of breakfast fare, the bacon was a little light on our plates(only 2 strips) but the ham and potato portions were good. I had a hot and spicy skillet that was good, but a little bland. The biscuits were homemade, thick and dense, your common OK biscuit making it perfect for biscuits and gravy.

Have you read granny’s page? Heart is in the food… best food, free coffee employees are over the top. Manager you will see even on his day off cinnamon rolls are to die for fresh made by hand a pass down from the rains.

The strawberry pancake is delicious. I ordered cowboy breakfast. It’s too much! I only can eat half.

After a couple of days in Stillwater, I’m quite sure this is the best meal you can get! I had the hamburger steak with okra and green beans. It was awesome… the gravy was delicious and I really enjoyed the dish! My husband had the fat granny special, which seems to be their signature dish. It was made of chicken fried chicken topped with gravy, bacon, French fries… lots of goodness! Be aware, you will likely wait for a table on the weekends, but it’s well worth it. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the garlic toast, everything else was great!

Get there when the doors open when there’s a game! This place lines the streets because it’s good and because there’s not much open on a Sunday particularly. The chicken fried steak is sooo good. The biscuit is melt in your mouth. The cinnamon roll and banana pancakes are good but not a must have. The biggest disappointment is how they lie to you and tell everyone the wait is 40 minutes… a worker said they are told to lie and tell everyone 40 mins though it might be hourssss… I hate dishonesty!

Really good breakfast and lunch options. And not very expensive. It’s locally owned and was once at anothet(worse) location in Stillwater. It’s as much of a Stillwater fixture as Joe’s. But the tailgaters and college kids don’t really come here much. It’s all townies and old timers. Not expensive and delicious.

This is the real deal folks! There were four of us that ate here for lunch. 3 of us had hamburgers and the other person had an omelette. All of us really liked our food. The burgers are huge. I had the chili cheeseburger, which may be the best chili burger I have eaten! I definitely recommend this place if you are hungry. I dare you to order the fat boy burger and eat the entire thing.

Pleasant and efficient/effective service, healthy and not-so-healthy breakfast and lunch menu, and Stillwater’s only smoke-free classy hip spot for breakfast. Rachel is a great server. The pumpkin pancakes are the best thing in this world, and to counter balance — go with the egg white omelette with cottage cheese and tomatoes. Go to Granny’s before 9am for free coffee!

This place was skeptical from the outside however, once we walked in the waitress who greeted us was so friendly and amazing We were seated promptly and received our drinks quick put our order in and it came out within reasonable time. The veggie omelet was absolutely tasty along with their coffee and cinnamon bun. Before we left she asked if we wanted any drinks to go and we were off. I highly recommend this place.

By far one of the best places to eat in Stillwater. The service is amazing– they treat you like family. There’s always somewhat of a line… But it’s SO worth it. Or you can always call in and pick up your food– that’s usually quicker! You definitely have to try their cinnamon rolls(as an appetizer of course). Their breakfast is top notch and their lunch is good as well.

I’ve already rated Shortcakes, and Granny’s is certainly in the same ballpark of food — breakfast(even the word invites happy feelings). In overall feeling, Shortcakes is to Granny’s as Wafflehouse is to Denny’s. The first has more grease; the second has more charm. Both have good food. The Cowboy Breakfast has a potato base(mine was hashbrowns) with onions, peppers, and cheese on top of that. And an egg to order on top of that. I ate it all. The waitress was very kind, and my mug overfloweth. I had a constant supply of coffee, free coffee. Yes! Before 9am there’s free coffee, so wake up early and get some Granny’s. It’s worth a try.

Best breakfast in Stillwater! Not that there’s much to compare it to, but Granny’s is amazing. My sister and I discovered it after attempting to venture to IHOP one Saturday morning at 11:30…with a line out the door and not-so-great service we are accustomed to there, we knew it’d probably be a couple of hours before we got any food. So we ventured to Granny’s and it’s now my go-to breakfast spot in Stillwater! Even when they’re on a wait, it’s never too long. The food is awesome and the service is super friendly. Most recently, I had the California omelette with bacon, tomatoes, avocado and Jack cheese served with sour cream. It was delicious. I was skeptical of sour cream with an omelette but it was great! My boyfriend had the country benedict, served with sausage patties and topped with gravy. One of his eggs was overcooked, but the other was a perfect runny poached egg. I still have to give five stars though because I LOVE Granny’s. :) If you’re in town for anything, definitely go here. The wait will be shorter than IHOP and the food is a million times better.
