Love this beach. Came here to take maternity photos, and arrived probably three hours before sunset, which was perfect. There were two other couples on the beach, and they were extremely nice, and not the weird creepy type at all. It is a nude beach. I repeat. It is a NUDE beach. And if you’re going to give a beach one star because of it, maybe try, I don’t know, expanding your horizons a bit? I’m by no means an exhibitionist, however, sometimes it’s great just to take off all your clothes and feel the breeze. Anyways, this beach is beautiful, and it’s a little bit of a hike down from the parking area. However, if there’s a lot of cars, don’t let that stop you. A lot of people park there, then walk along the beach all the way to Stintson Beach when the tide is low.

I frequented Redrock(it’s a nude beach) a number of years ago and liked how friendly the people were. There were the regulars plus people going to there on weekends. There were also families with kids on some weekends and it was really nice with the family environment. I got to play ultimate frisbee in the buff with people and made a number of great friends and aquaintances. A wee bit South of Redrock’s parking area is a path that leads to hot springs that can be accessed during very low tide. That was awesome. With those experiences I would rate Redrock with 5 stars. However, there are some unsavory aspects going to Redrock. 1) One being there were sometimes mexican/or hispanic guys who would lurk behind rocks to stare at naked female bodies. always in a small group. I saw Redrock regulars sometimes speak to them and even occasionally convinced one to join the beachgoers and strip off the clothes. But there will be the occasional lurkers. There’s also singleton guys who go to the beach, and stare behind their sunglasses. whatever, i ignored those. 2) Once in a while couples would go into the bushes to get it on. Really? Can’t you go somewhere else? This would be further up on the trails/or more specific, away from the trails. But still, DON’T do that. 3) There was this blonde guy,(who is now prob in his 50’s now), who rode his bike all the way along hwy 1 to Redrock and frequent the beach on weekends. He would be very friendly to young female newcomers and offer to show them the rocks. He’s climb up the trail on the rocks with the gal in question and then once you were up there with him — think narrow path, rock face sheer and there’s the ocean right below — he would all of a sudden stand REALLY close to the gal and touch her with his growing penis. Meanwhile the gal is stuck up there between the cliff and this creep sticking his penis at you. Yeah he did it to me, too. Avoided him afterwards and didn’t think of it anymore until another time when I saw him head up the cliffs with a new gal and she came down later first looking disgusted. I also had to warn another newcomer not to go up the cliffs with him. Should have reported him. So i am not sure if he still frequents Redrock, but if he does, women, you’ve been warned. Chester the Molester might be there.(That’s not his name, btw. I don’t remember it.) Too bad no one ever pushed him off the cliff to get him off them. – The negative aspects — which does not occur all the time, mind you, brings the rating down to a zero! Balancing out the pros and cons, I give Redrock a 3.

Red Rock beach is beyond beautiful! The area is well cared for, loved and tended by the regulars who are probably THE most inviting and friendly people you’ll meet. My partner and I have been there twice and the regulars always make smiling eye contact, invite us to join the Frisbee happenings, and just make nice conversation. If the place was primarily frequented by this group, I’d give Red Rock 5 stars. Easy. But it isn’t. It’s also crawling with men who come there JUST to gawk at the tits. So here you are, kicking back at a private beach to relax and feel open and free and what you get are men going out of their way to stare at the girls. Non-stop creepy gawking. As my partner said, «I can FEEL their eyes on me, even when I’m not looking at them» I kept trying to put it out of my mind but each time I looked up, here’s Chester the Molester, sweeping the beach with his smarmy gaze. We go to Harbin quite often — we’re chill with the clothing optional scene and we understand that even at Harbin, there’s the occasional creeper but they’re rare and far outnumbered by the kind and like-minded people. IOW, we’re okay with being seen and we’re not shy. But Red Rock is 25% nasty creeper grossness. The creepers win as we will NOT return.

Gorgeous scenery but as a beach where you might spend the day: windy, crowded, rocky and a real«scene» of people who have some weird exhibitionist or intimidation needs over strangers. So windy that you will be wiping sand out from your ears for days. Nice to visit once or twice but there are far better beaches for relaxing & sunbathing.

Also known as Mickey’s Beach. Came here for the awesome bouldering, but actually first time to a nude beach as well. In terms of scenery you really can’t beat Mickey’s. Especially as the weather gets warmer, Mickey’s Beach is pretty amazing. You get a fantastic view on the drive over and once you get there there’s just water pretty much as far as the eye can see. There’s several rocks for bouldering spread out across the beach including the Orange Buddha Boulder(the one closest to the nude beach) which has a bunch of awesome problems on it. Be aware that the sand and tide levels can vary significantly, which can affect which problems you can do and your confidence in your landing zone. On a warm sunny day, expect to see a handful of climbers spread out along the beach. Cuz there’s nothing better than sending an awesome problem at Mickey’s and then standing on top of the boulder to admire the beautiful view and take in that nice sea breeze.
