This place may have good food I don’t know because they lost my order for Christmas Eve and now I have a house full and no food! The thing that really got me is how rude and unapologetic they were! They could give a crap and a it was their mistake! I would never go there again! This place sucks!

Still come for their pizza dough and maybe a sandwich from time to time. I referred my parents to this place and my mother ordered a mixed tray of apps for a party. She must have had a menu that was 6 – 9 months old and the prices were jacked up by almost $ 15!!! Not worth it for what you get. And they forgot a part of her order. Sad since when it opened I referred so many people.

I had a party catered by this place, The food is disappointing. The baked ziti was so dry, hardly any sauce mixed in. The sausage & peppers was not much better. Again sausage was very dry & chewy. And forget the chicken francise. They actually sent me lemon chicken. No one even ate it as I had practically the whole tray left over. It was I guess overcooked & chewy & way 2 much lemon. I also ordered a sub sandwich which they cut into pieces. The bread was sooo hard on top it was difficult to bite into. They also gave me bread to go with the food but that also was so hard I ended up giving it to one of my guests to take home to make meatballs with. I wanted to like this place cause it is close to home but unfortunately cannot. I wish there were real reviews about the food before I ordered as I would NOT have gotten anything from this place. If you do decide to order from this place make sure your guests have NO tastebuds. Surely you can find a better place.

Mozzarella is wonderful as well as the refrigerated sauces and frozen pasta. I decided to try the meatballs and they were hard as a rock with very little flavor. I usually have to wait because the staff of two is hanging out in the back room. The music is blasting so they never hear when someone comes in. I’d rather go to the Italian deli in Warren.

I went here bc I read good things about this place. It’s small. Okay not much of a choice for anything besides sandwiches no salads. Soups. Etc weird! I ordered a «staten Italy» it’s basically a turkey club but when I asked for no tomato & to put provolone on it I got the nastiest meanest look from the short Mexican guy working. I see him go over to where they keep the bread and he’s putting his hands on all the rolls I thought he was going to give me a fresh roll. Boy was I wrong it’s hard as a rock my cousin can’t even bite threw the sandwich & I most certainly cannot In order to eat it I have to cut the hard parts off with a bread knife & it’s still hard to bite threw and none the less the sandwich/bread is beyond dry. So therefore I will never be coming back to this place. Jersey Mikes is way better & you pay less for better quality such a shame for an «Italian deli store»

Delicious food– fresh mozz is my fave. I love many of the sandwiches and my mom must have said the chicken Marsala was the best she’s ever had about a thousand times at dinner. Wish I lived closer!

My wife and I placed an order this past Sunday to be picked up on Christmas Eve for chicken cutlets, 2 loaves of bread, 2 balls of fresh mozzarella, a container of bruschetta, and a $ 50 caprese salad. The woman who took the order at A&S asked me what time I would like to pick it up on and we requested 11am which she said would be «no problem.» We had picked up food from A &S before and it was good. My wife showed up on Christmas Eve at 11AM and waited on line for an hour to reach the counter to request our order. When she gave them our name, they had a hard time locating the order, and when they finally found the order they realized most of it was not even started. They also realized that at this point they didn’t have any bruschetta in the store. My wife put together about 1⁄3 of the order and then the woman said that they would have to deliver the rest of the order later that day. Keep in mind we had placed this order because we had a house full of guests coming for dinner, and this A & S order was our dinner for Christmas Day. A &S needed to deliver the $ 50 caprese salad and the bruschetta to fulfill what seemed like a very simple order for an «Italian Food Store.» My wife repeated and confirmed that with the overwhelmed and confused staff before leaving the store(after an hour and 45 minute experience trying to simply pick up the basic order we placed 4 days earlier). When we arrived home from church we found a large container of bruschetta at our back door(which we requested because it was pouring rain) and NO caprese salad. We called back and left them a message. After not hearing from A & S on Christmas morning(which they are open for«mozzarella only») my wife called back to find out what was going on. The woman at A & S said«you wanted more than just the bruschetta?» to which my wife explained for the third time that yes the order form has one small caprese salad which we actually wanted. She reluctantly said«well I guess I will make it and find a way to deliver it to you later.» At this point the lack of interest, and the attitude for simply wanting some accountability for an order that was completely screwed up had left us not wanting anything more from A & S. The woman handed the phone and said«someone talk to this woman» to one of her male coworkers who told us that the salad was given to someone else because they were waiting, is that right? I said I had no f’ing clue(nor care at this point) what any other customers got or waited for, but I did know what I ordered, and what I was left without… and he suggested the easiest thing for them is for us to go back to the store and he would credit us the $ 50 for the salad. We stated we wouldn’t be wasting another second going to Stirling, to credit our credit card, which he wouldn’t do. He gruffly asked for our address(which he took about ½ of), and said he would«send us a check.» I am willing to bet a lot of money we will never see a check for $ 50+ tax for the caprese salad we never got. I write very few reviews about anything, but A &S left us high and dry on Christmas Day with a house full of guests with very little care about the matter. The food is decent, the service might be the worst i have ever experienced in my entire life. There are professional places like Barth’s where you can get the same exact food, from a professional staff, on the day you actually want it. Don’t waste your time or money ever stepping foot in A & S, I promise the service will disappoint you.

Fresh ingredients and good portions. Great alternative to craving subs(might as well get real bread with sandwiches) If you have a hard time thinking of sandwiches to make, they have an extensive, creative menu.

Just the type of place our town needed. Great food reasonably priced with large portions. A little hard to see unless you have a reason to pull in that parking lot. Hopefully this place is here to stay its a great alternative to food chains that give you smaller portions for more money. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
