My first judgment is always on a place’s coffee and sweet tea… I ordered both and they’re great! Brewing either is an art, and rare is it to find both done well.

I had Cat fish and grit it was great I would of gave a 5 stars but I wasn’t aware that they used liquid eggs and they tasted horrible. I wish they would use real eggs.

Fairly good southern cooking. The vegetables are quite good and the breakfast is decent. Their omelettes are different from what I’m used to, having the cheese sprinkled on top, but we’re still tasty. For those with Apple Watches and newer iPhones, they do take ApplePay.

We’ve been there for breakfast several times now and the food was great every time. The services was good as well. They have a real southern cooked breakfast and great home-made biscuits. The breakfast reminds me of the old Butch’s Restaurant in Jonesboro. We’ve been there at noon and they still served breakfast. The prices are good too. I will be a regular here.

For months, nay, years I’d bookmarked the old Biscuits & Brunch place as a breakfast destination and somehow never went there. Then yesterday, I drove by and was quite shocked, nay distraught, to find it had closed. I composed myself long enough to dial their old number and was happy to learn that the same owners had opened up Bridge View Country Cooking right across the street. So my friend and I turned right around… Bridge View was immediately very comfortable. Unpretentious. Friendly. A devastatingly attractive server immediately took our order and then skillfully stayed out of the way as my friend and I enjoyed our eggs and that light, fluffy, buttery biscuit. Our glasses were never empty. And the eggs were exactly what they needed to be – totally hitting the spot and getting the day started right. It is clear that many regulars from the old Biscuits & Brunch place have transferred seamlessly to the new location. People soon began filing in for an early lunch(which coincided with our very late breakfast). Good stuff. On the breakfast side you’ve got delicious traditional fare: eggs, biscuits, sausage, gravy, grits, ham, bacon… You could even order a fried bologna biscuit. I imagine the chicken biscuit here is delicious.(I’m getting hungry again just thinking about it.) On the lunch side you’ve got country fried steak, pork chops, fried chicken, burgers, fish, and a bunch of other delicious looking stuff.(The police at the neighboring table were chowing down on their lunch. I wanted to ask them about their stuff, but I was too focused on my friend.) Service was excellent, and prices were quite reasonable. I can’t wait to go back for more. I can imagine hanging out for a bit over a book or the newspaper. Holler if you’re coming with.
