Huge Hibachi Sushi Buffet

The restaurant is now shut down for failing their third health inspection. They received some of the lowest health scores in recent history.

Can I say horrible. i already don’t care for Chinese food but figured I’d give it a chance big mistake… no food on buffet. so I tried stir fry. dude let rice sit on grill so long it was crunchy smh. i wish there was a half a star

Full disclosure — I have not been to this restaurant but felt people should be informed when a restaurant fails a health inspection. They scored a 28 recently, article is:
Even if a restaurant improves, it bothers me that the next high score they could possibly get is only because they got caught and not because they honestly wanted to do better.

This went downhill fast… this was the best place in town when it first opened now it’s simply a dirty place to eat… The last visit was the last straw… they served my wife a dirty glass that someone else used and was not washed… it even had lemon seeds stuck to the bottom… and whatever you do don’t go into the bathrooms… the food quality is really deteriorating fast as well… the taste is no longer has a Wow effect… it taste as if it was cooked in a rush… it’s a shame… but I will not be going back there again…

My friend suggested that we try this restaurant one night. I was initially hesitant but I went along with it. I really wish I had gone with my first instinct. The food was only okay. There was nothing special about what they had to offer. As stated by another user, I could find the same quality of food in the food court of a mall.
My friend and I finished our meals and as he headed for the restroom, I went to the front to pay. I used my debit card and signed the receipt. I waited for my friend in the lobby and we both went to our cars. As I started my car I looked up to see the hostess, I believe her name was Idee, running at my car. It was difficult to understand her but I knew that whatever she was attempting to say was pertaining to my card.
She asked me to step inside and so I did. When I got inside she repeatedly accused me of not paying for my meal. It shocked me because I had just paid her less than 5 minutes prior to the conversation. Apparently she had misplaced the receipt with my signature on it. At first she said I did not pay, then it became «The man that you were with did not pay.» I kept pointing out the fact that I paid for both our meals and even went as far as to show her the transaction and its «processing» status using the online banking app on my phone.
She seemed confused and the the situation did not come to an end until my waitress overheard the conversation and informed the hostess that the meal that was in question, was not mine and that she never wrote up the ticket for the meal the hostess was arguing with me about.
The waitress let me know that the hostess was wrong and that I was fine to leave.
This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. I have never been falsely accused of not paying for my meal – let alone chased down.
The hostess never offered an apology for her mistake. She just kind of stared as I walked away. I was so upset and completely disappointed by this. I will never visit this restaurant again.
The food is mediocre but my experience would have been acceptable if it had not been for the chaotic event that followed my meal. I doubt everyone will be chased down and asked to pay for a meal that they did not order, but I believe that this is evidence of their lack of respect and poor customer service.

Well, what can I say? It’s a gargantuan «Chinese» buffet in Stockbridge, Georgia.
Food is edible, if you like Chinese buffet food, which I do.
Sushi selection is quite particular. There’s a lot of it, but no salmon anything at lunch, because «salmon too expensive to ser at lunch».
Manager man is rude. Maybe not rude, but definitely out of line. I got 3 plates. One for sushi, one for salad, and one for hot foods. As I was paying, he ASKED me why I had gotten 3 plates, and didn’t finish ALL the food off of each of them. I was so stunned, that all I could reply with was, «what were you doing watching me eat and counting my items»? He said, «I’m the manager, I watch everybody and everything».
I’ll skip this one for next time, even when I’m out in Stockbridge. There ARE others.

The food at Huge Hibachi was kinda average chinese-​food fare, with the food warmers keeping things at somewhat tolerable temperatures for your consumption.
Unfortunately, this place didn’t quite hit the mark when it came to my need for Chinese buffet food. The food wouldn’t make it onto my plate and back to my table still warm. The sushi was WAY too large to enjoy and the wasabi was in a tub, with a makeshift knife to grab a chunk for your plate.
If you go here, stick with the teriyaki chicken from the buffet. It’s the best thing happening in this place.
