A-1 Cut

Took my 2 boys in for a hair cut and no complaints here. The price was fair and the staff is friendly. We will definitely be coming back soon.

Not sure how this happened after I showed a picture, but absolute worst haircut of my life. Something was definitely lost in translation, so if I were you, I’d be very clear about what you want.

takes too long everytime and they can never FADE. always messes up my haircuts. they are nice and all but cant cut hair

I got my haircut from Monica, my hair is pretty simple, layered. All I ever ask for is that I get it trimmed and thinned out, and something always doesn’t get done to my satisfaction. This time. it came out great. They are across from Home Depot, and they share a parking lot with Dollar Tree. Monica cut the exact length I wanted, which almost never happens, and thinned it out to my liking. She kept asking me if I wanted more or if it was okay which was nice, and it wasn’t like she was asking too much either. I really liked my haircut and I’ll probably make her my regular place. It was $ 12 for my haircut, and I tipped her $ 2.50 (they charge $ 0.50 for using your card so I evened it out to $ 15). I’d suggest this place for sure.

I got a short hair cut sometime before noon a couple of days ago. My hair was long, but not to my shoulders. If I were to extend my bangs across my forehead, my hair might’ve touched my nose. My hair was parted in the middle usually before my cut.
There was like no other customers there, lol. I guess the mornings are the best to get special treatment. I didn’t know what I wanted my hair to be cut like, because I usually go to this one place in Concord and I get a cut with a long hairstyle.
So, we discussed and looked toward the chart in front of my chair to find a cut sort of like how I’d want it. I think it was cut #15. She gave me full attention and stopped to talk about how long I wanted it and I was able to communicate fluidly. I can be a picky mofo at times~! lol.
She gel-​ed my hair, cut some, and asked if the length at the time was good. I thought my hair looked weird gel-​ed. meh. But I said yes and I motioned that the back was sorta looking weird and she politely said she wasn’t done and that she had to blend it. She was just making sure that I wanted the proper length that was there, where the hairs near my forehead stood.
Everything went smoothly but I thought my hair was ugly. (I haven’t had a short cut in a long time). When I took a shower later, my hair looked awesome!!! hahahaha. I’m just a picky mofo that probably wants my hair gel-​ed a certain way. My hair feels perfect.
You know what I mean though right, when you get your hair cut, and at times they cut it too short and you wait for a while for it to grow out some? Well I didn’t have to wait and my hair is of pretty good length for a short hair cut.
Damnit why didn’t I get her name!!! lol. I’m such a wuss! It was my first time there. It was $ 10, but I tipped her $ 2.

Go for Monica! She’s the only one who feathers my layers right. She always cuts exactly the way I request. She actually uses a feather styling razor to cut side bangs, which helps my bang fall naturally. In contrast, other hairstylist (like my mom) would just cut your hair in layers to create a choppy bang with lots of gaps… not ideal. Monica definitely knows what she’s doing. My hair is down to my lower back, so my «do» always cost around $ 14+tip. Base is $ 12 for female. I think $ 8 for guys. The small, lighter skinned chick does decent brow waxing for $ 8 and she also cuts mostly guys’ hair.
Everyone is friendly and enthusiastic. They’re always busy and that really surprises me considering the secluded location.

I love going here to get my hair cut and eyebrows waxed. The ladies are really friendly and are very attentive. They cut your hair EXACTLY the way you want it as long as you tell them. The lady that does the eyebrow waxing is also very friendly and very careful.
This place is really cheap too. Just $ 12 for haircuts & $ 7 for eyebrow waxing. I really recommend this place =)
