I visited here about 2 weeks ago and I was greeted by a nice woman. Service was good but the drinks were not to my liking. They tasted very bland and left a gritty taste texture in my mouth. I will not be coming back.

I was pretty excited to see a bambu in Stockton. I’m a regular at the one in sacramento.
I went into this store for a hazel nut mocha. I ordered like how I normally order my mocha in sac. To my surprise, they have different sizes. I ordered a large,. What I received was a watery drink, more expensive, and tasted nothing like the hazel nut mocha in the Sacramento bambu.
The store was not well kept. The floors were not clean. They had friends chatting like it was a club house. I won’t be going back to this one.

I’ve had order #1 and # 7 and it seems like I get the old over due Logan or lychee.. My bf always order #6(really good) and # 10 some times the jello are chunky, I can’t even eat it.

I love their Black Milk Tea with Boba… ITZ AMAZING .the black milk tea and boba is SWEET, which leads to PERFECTION! LOVE this place!

Called ahead to ask if they have french macaron ice cream sandwiches like some of the other locations do and was told they did by an employee. Drove 90 minutes to get there and lo and behold, employee completely lied because we were informed they do not sell french macaron ice cream sandwiches. Will not be going back here again, not happy about being lied to and obviously was not impressed with their customer service.

I gave them a 5 for their mixture of unique choices. I got my mom a jackfruit smoothie with boba, my son a lychee smoothie with boba, and my daughter an avocado smoothie. For myself I went with the Jasmine milk tea with boba, grass jelly & pandan jelly. The boba was perfect – not hard or slimy; light & chewy. Prices are a bit higher than other places, but I’m guessing they have to charge more because these desserts and drinks are all they serve. It also is a bit of a wait, but at least you know your items are being prepared with care. I’ll definitely return.

Finally after having this craving for quite some time I decided to pop in and roll the dice. Glad to see their hours are much more expanded than in the bay. Same great taste and I was able to specialize my orders despite buying multiple drinks for the fam. I went with my usual, the fruit and jellies were great and smooth as always. Definitely going to come back and glad to know they’re open everyday. Not as late as id like but the comfort of knowing they are around us a big plus.

Tried it out for the first time the other day. Got the taro milk tea, normally my favorite.
Pros — Location (close to home /​major intersection)
Cons — Location (Shady shopping center with little or no security? I’ve never seen them.)
— There’s usually someone outside asking for money or other things.
— Drink was very powdery tasting not smooth/​milky/​creamy …tasted strange.
I took it home and added milk and stirred it for like 5min straight until it wasn’t so powdery.
Next time I’ll go back to Quickly on robinhood.

I’ve been here a few times and I always order the #1 drink. It’s good with the pandan jelly, but last time I came in, they were out so they substituted grass jelly. I think I might prefer the grass jelly. I really like that the drink isn’t ridiculously sweet. And it had a whole lot of things in it. Normally, it comes with lychee, large coconut pieces, and pandan jelly. It really eats like a meal. A friend of mine joked that they wouldn’t be needing to have dinner after finishing their drink. I agree.

Been visiting multiple Bambus all over the Bay and Sacramento areas. This one is decent. Prices are higher than the others. The ingredients don’t seem as ‘fresh’ as the others. I usually gauge my review based on the #6. It has a variety of the different fruits/​jellies in that drink.
I can’t recall ever getting soft coconut meat from here.
What really turned me off was their blatant overcharging. The photo I shared shows them overcharging me. The normal price for the drink is $ 4.25. I made it a large which should be a $.50 up charge. My receipt shows the $ 4.75 each. However it was summed up as $ 5.25 each.
Buyers beware. Check your receipts.

Wow. Just wow. How difficult is it to make a simple drink?
Today, I ordered a regular raspberry tea with boba, which came out to $ 4.63, but what I received was a regular sized cup with the drink spilling over from a thin cap and NO boba. Also, where’s my e-​receipt?! I’ve received my e-​receipts quickly in the past, but I still have yet to receive mine from today.
I can’t believe that I paid full price for this half-​***** drink. Luckily, though, I remembered the two employees who were working today. If I ever see them again, I’m walking out the door.

You have no idea how excited I am to have found this place near home (Manteca)!!
While working in San Jose, I stopped in the Bambu there and ordered a #6 — immediately loved it!
Since this location is closer to home, you bet I’ll be coming here often!
Anyway, we ordered a #6 (Che Trai Cay) and a Thai Milk Tea with pearls. Both were great! Not too sweet or too bland. Only thing is — they filled the whole cup up with ice. I would definitely ask for less ice in my milk tea next time.

New management, but quality and flavor of my milk tea was consistent and good. I havent been back due to poor service (once it was locked before business hours were over and another time no one came to greet me even though there were customers waiting for their drinks & they have an indicator when you walk in).
So happy that new people means better service!

New management and new drinks. I just came in and got the #6 desert and I’m very impressed. The whole thing was great. I like how the coconut had that crunch and the logan didn’t overwhelm the rest of the the drink There was also several types of jellies in there, none of them are too sweet so it was very good. This is the perfect place to come on a hot day. I recommend everyone to come here and try it now since the owners are different from the last ones. I also notice you get a freebie on your birthday, I should have came here a few weeks ago, but I guess I’ll get a free one next year.
Staff was friendly.
Environment was relaxed.
Tables are very clean.
Definitely coming back on any hot day.

I love grabbing drinks from Bambu with my mom and sister! Drinks are a little pricey they even raised it up 75 cents a drink so it’s at around 4 dollars. Had only one bad experience with the avocado drink for my mom super bitter sent it back for some extra sugar and came back tasting the same. Not a big fan of the shaved ice on top neither. Other than than experience drinks are always tasty! I’m happy to see a Vietnamese drink shop open to share the desert!

As far as dessert drinks in Stockton goes, this place nails it! I’m so glad they decided to open one here. The location. is kind of in a weird shopping plaza, but it’s whatever.
This place is inexpensive and the ingredients are fresh (as far as I can tell)! Plus, the interior is brand spanking new and parking is plentiful.
I didn’t like the Bambu Special as much, but I would recommend #6 or #10. Both are solid options.
If you’re hungry and just want a quick drink, stop by here. You won’t regret it and it’s definitely a different experience than your typical boba place.

Looking back on my review… can’t figure out why I gave 4 stars! This place deserves 10 stars if it were an option! The people are always so friendly, they are super quick AND they hand walk the drink to you if your sitting in the lobby waiting. Service has always been great, they even remember us by name when we go in :) Huge plus!
Thank you Bambu– its been an expensive habit that I can’t break. I’m there once a week at least! Your drinks are delicious and your staff is awesome! I may as well work there part time since I’m there so much :) Haha

This may be the ONLY Vietnamese dessert specialty in town. For those who do not know what that entails, give this place a visit. It’s like a slushee drink but with milk, jellies, boba, and all sorts of sweets inside that you will need a spoon! This place is a bit small (at least smaller than Lollicup) and stuck in the same plaza as a video store and Chinese restaurant. This place is fairly new, so everything’s pretty clean. There’s a TV, which was playing a sports game when I visited.
I ordered jasmine milk tea since I’m not a fan of Viet desserts (comprised of things like taro, red bean, green bean, white bean, mung mean, coconut, jellies, etc). I did not like that there was a huge hole on the lid. I took it to-​go and luckily I drank some so it wouldn’t spill in my car. I think they should have separate lids for drinks vs the desserts.
