Went in the restaurant, got confused about another place and the waitress yelled for us to move our car. She was rude there were no employees to greet us when we had entered the restaurant. I would not recommend this place because of its rude service and staff.

My girlfriend and I were in Stockton for my birthday exotic car drive and she had a craving for authentic Mexican. Unilocal led us here, and Unilocal really came through. It doesn’t get more authentic than this. The food was simple and fresh. The taste was out of this world. The beers were cold and served in frosty mugs. The service was exemplary. The owner is a sweet woman with a warm smile and she’s appreciative of her customers. Go! You won’t be disappointed. This is the kind of place that needs to survive, and the owner told us that business is slow. Support great food and great culture.
The neighborhood is industrial and bleak, but by no means dangerous or shady. Did I tell you to go yet?

Everything was great, exactly what you are looking for in a sit down style taqueria.
Salsa was that really tasty homemade style that I love. I got a combo plate with chile relleno, enchilada, and quesadilla. All were super tasty and cooked just right. Even the beans and rice were tasty, and it’s pretty common to get bland beans and rice. My husband got a steak plate and it was really good as well.

This place has the best shrimp soup I have ever eaten. Every time I come to Stockton I eat here and it’s consistently good. Fresh homemade tortillas are amazing and the chips and salsa is always good too. The owner is very nice and makes sure you are satisfied. I am super picky about my Mexican food and this place never disappoints!

Ok well I’m dissatisfied with the burrito to the max! It was so horrible that i didn’t even wana finish it! Its not often i hate a burrito but how do you mess up simple creations likethat. Honestly it’s way over priced for ehhhh food. The chile is supposed to b the base of a Mexican restaurant. Smh

Really authentic Mexican food fresh homemade tortillas seafood is always fresh Owner is a very Hard working n is always finding a way to please her customers ! Must try this place I eat out n I always compare Mexican food but i must this one is hard to beat !

Loved this place!!! Grilled shrimp burrito was amazing, fresh made salsa to die for and the Flan… Love me some Flan! The lady who owns this place is so nice, she works hard and deserves your support. Please support this place and tell your friends…

I’m brutal when it comes to critiquing food. I won’t waste any time — this is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life.
Everything was delicious, everything tasted clean.
Sadly I left without the salsa recipe I asked for. ;)

Asada Burrito was amazing better then the taco trucks and any restaurant ive had before just amazing!!! Orchata was pretty good too just dont order to much ice salsa and chips were good amazing place in total!

Amazing horchata, VERY accommodating and pleasant servers, my fajita burrito was too, VERY good. They also have sides out in the main area– salsas, oranges, jalapenos, DELICIOUS tapioca, and more…
Not a fan of the neighborhood, but I will have to find my way back here.

Fresh chips, spicy salsa, delicious food, clean-​bright restaurant. Definitely will try again. B/​B+

The burritos covered in gravy are amazing! Good service, sometimes. I stop by every time I’m in the mood for a delicious burrito.

This is the real thing! The food is wonderful and the service is great. Very authentic.
A little out of the way but worth the drive.

Very good — authentic mexican food. Prices are reasonable and the service is fantastic. Great beans and rice.

I am a fan of this place. It’s right down the street from where I work. If forget my lunch or expect to eat out, I will eat here. The burritos are big and stuffed with asada (or any other type of meant) and tasty, and so are the tortas. This is a family owned business, so the workers are nice and friendly.
