Great quality food in a warm and friendly atmosphere. What more needs to be said? Love this place.

Delicious! Always! You name it and i’m going to eat it and that’s a fact! The tri-tip sandwich has been my go to so far as well as the potato salad, it’s almost as good as my mom might make… There is flavor bursting all over my taste buds from start to finish… Although I wish it would never end, it does… so do yourself a favor and get a fresh made cookie to top off your lunch. Do it! Do it now! The service is excellent, the food delicious and the atmosphere great. Cant wait to try some of the other items on the menu.

Second time here and very happy still. Portions are good shared a salad and sandwich with a friend. A little hidden and tucked away but a nice find. New owner seemed a little overwhelmed with three customers but he gets an A for effort. He was very polite and nice when he did get a chance to talk a bit I’m sure he’s still trying to get situated. Atmosphere was very casual and nice, felt like i was eating at a friends house almost, a little small on the inside but I’m sure most customers order things to go. Anyway want to say I had the chicken salad and turkey sandwich I forget the names since they use those funny names that really doesn’t describe the sandwich at all. Very filling especially the salad and very good. I will be coming back.

Delicious food and a great atmosphere. Very pleased with this little café. I stopped by for a quick bite to eat and am very happy I did so. The customer service is amazing! They gave me a free cookie! Nothing but good things to say about this place!

A very nice, quaint, and quiet place. The staff are very sweet, friendly, and funny, and the service was very quick! They really care about their customers and take the time to go around and talk to all of them. They buy all of their ingredients locally, so I could definitely taste how fresh their ingredients were. I got the Weber Point Chicken sandwich and it was pretty good– loved the sauce! I also got a caramel macchiato, which was decent, but nothing special(although the caramel they use is super yummy!). They played nice Christian music in the background too, which not many places do, so I appreciated that. I guess this would be a nice study place since they have free wifi, but most of the customers just ate their food and left, so I felt a little awkward, but w/e. The hours are a little odd too, so check before going, but I like supporting local businesses as well, so I’ll definitely be back! :)

Tasty fresh items. But could use some simple additional indigents to set them above other cafes here in Stockton. Think more flavor! But I absolutely loved the watermelon Icee and boba green tea, although I didn’t get a boba appropriate straw :(they are getting 4 stars because I really enjoy independent small business’s like this!

EXCELLENT service and food here! Wanted to eat a salad because of my annoying diet, and Unilocal led me here. It’s pretty far from UOP and led to me a neighborhood I’ve never been, but it was so worth it! I think it is family owned since they also own a spa/nail salon across the street. My friend and I went around 3pm and the owner was surprised people were coming in at this time so I’m guessing this place is most poppin durin lunch! My friend wanted to get the peach smoothie(they didn’t have it) with tapioca(they didn’t have it) watermelon icy(seasonal so they didn’t have it) but the owner gave her a free avocado smoothie instead! And samples as well! Best customer service that I’ve experienced in a while. The owners chill, the vibes chill, you can tell him everything you want, anything you don’t want, what you want extra and he’s all for customer satisfaction! My friend got the steak tri-tip sandwich with spicy mayo and it was DELISHHH! The potato salad was bomb too and I usually hate potato salad. I forgot the salad that I got but it had chicken, avocado, red onion, artichoke, tomato, and cucumber and it was like any other salad I can make at home but still nice and fresh for me! I would definitely recommend this place.

Decided to try it after seeing the positive reviews and unfortunately we were really disappointed. Only 1 person(on a Saturday afternoon) working so it took 40 minutes to get our sandwiches. The garlic tomato aioli smothered both the tri-tip and Cali for Nya sandwiches and was completely overpowering. The hot pastrami and chicken bacon wrap were just ok. They were also out of ingredients to make the watermelon icy. We won’t be back.

On a first name basis with these folks. Always friendly staff and appreciative of local business. Their food is fresh and home made and the soup they have is to die for! Hidden gem in Stockton, for sure!

I was referred to this place by my hairstylist who works right next door to this quaint café. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by a friendly employee. There are a lot of great items on the menu and I’d like to return to try more. Items such as sandwiches, salads, desserts, coffees, and smoothies. I enjoyed the Styles U Chicken Sandwich and a café latte. There was a bit of a wait, but it I usually expect to wait for any local mom n pop shop. I’m glad to see local cafes in this city serving their own sandwiches and coffee. It beats having to visit the usual Starbucks or Subway restaurants :)

We came here for the first time because a friend of ours said it was a great place to eat. The service was excellent, very nice people. I recently went 95% vegetarian so this place served me well. I got this Fuji Apple Spinach Salad it was tooooo good to be true but yes it was real because I ate it and my husband kept stealing bites from me. My hubby had the tri-tip sandwich and he chomped that thing in like 3 minutes lol so he had to watch me eat my delicious salad haha! My daughter had a salami sandwich and my son had a turkey with cheese and he actually ate it and he’s super crazy picky he only eats PB&J so needless to say our family has a special place to go now! Highly recommend!

So, I’ve been hearing about this place from a lot of people. Food-wise, I thought it was awesome! I had the tri tip sandwich; had some kind of tomato pesto with bean sprouts, tomatoes, lettuce, and onions(requested them grilled). Phenomenal. I’ve heard lots of great things about the watermelon icy, but I had a smoothie and it was about average, not too special. The owner said he used to own a Tapoica Express so I would assume many of the drinks would be cross overs here. By way of décor, it was very… homey… Had a TV, 4 cushioned couches, and two tables for dining as well as 2 tables outside. As far as they’ve gone to decorate and make the place comfortable, there is definitely a limited space if you want to eat in. But I’m sure lots of people eat out because of the space issue. The owner was the one working and he was super friendly. The sign coming into the door read«Come as strangers, leave as friends.» And I think this small, family business, hole-in-the-wall café definitely speaks to that. Wait time was about 15 minutes, but I thought was okay, but if you’re in a rush, might not be wise to eat out here. But the food all tasted fresh. I highly recommend it!

I’m gonna have to go against the grain here and say that I did not enjoy this place. It’s small, the furniture is cheap and looks and feels that way. It took forever to get our sandwiches/wraps. I guess they had to catch, skin and butcher the animal outback??? Maybe that’s what took so long? And the staff there were young girls who didn’t seem to even want to be there. You would think in an intimate place like that, you would have someone with a warm and inviting personality since they are the«café by the spa.» I’m glad to have read that most enjoyed their experience there. I don’t think I am that hard of a judge, but to each their own. This place was not And is not for me. no thanks.

Today after work, we visited this restaurant for dinner for the first time, because my Philipino friend wanted to try out Chicken Adobo they are carrying during Stockton Restaurant Week;I ordered Cross-Fit Salad from regular menu, all the while not sure I’d like their foods, but the moment I put salad in my mouth, I was sold, it was sooooooo good, I cleaned my plate except those fell out from it, I will definitely go back there try different foods, specially Affogato, I’ve been missing it the next day I had it at Blue Bottle Coffee Co in Ferry Plaza of San Francisco. By the way, my friend wasn’t very thrilled about her dinner, I am not surprised; Chicken Adobo and Pancit she cooks is very popular at her work.

I received a Unilocal Deal and received a $ 10 meal for $ 5.00(one for me and the other for my mother). I didn’t know what to expect, but I was happy with the end result! I decided to try the Café Steak Sandwich without the sprouts and on Ciabatta Bread. The sandwich contained Marinated Tri-Tip, Tomato garlic aioli(extremely good), swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onions. It came with potato salad and I decided to have mine toasted. It was delicious! I was extremely satisfied. My mother, who doesn’t like to try anything new… absolutely loved it! She also enjoyed the potato salad and she is extremely picky about potato salad. I also enjoyed the atmosphere, the décor is warm with a big screen TV and internet connection. Great place to relax and get some work done or game. You have to go inside the outside impression does nothing for this place! So, I have to say that Café by the Spa is a winner!

This was my first visit to this little hole in the wall. From the outside, it really did not look like much. However, when I went inside, I found the place to be super cozy, with only two tables and a little area to talk and watch t.v. It looked like a family atmosphere that was made foryou to be comfortable. I have to admit, I only went because of a recommendation and because it was restaurant week– which includes awesome specials at discounted prices. There were three choices on the restaurant week menu. All for just under $ 10 minus tax. I picked the steak sandwich, which came with a salad for the appetizer and a tiramisu for dessert. Not bad right? Well it took a while to come out and this special does not come with drinks guys! But if you check in through Unilocal and show them your check in, you can get a free soda or coffee. The sodas even have free refills! It’s an easy way to save a little money. Well the sandwich was okay-good. not the best thing I ever ate. The tiramisu was pretty good thoughh. This meal was definitely worth it during restaurant week.

A hidden gem! It is worth finding though… Used my ‘Groupon’ here today. Had one sandwich at the café and took one home for later. I had the Café Steak Sandwich… $ 7 Marinated tri-tip, tomato garlic aioli, pepper jack cheese, lettuce/sprouts, tomatoes and onion on a toasted genova french roll… comes with a side of of home-made potato salad. mmm, very good. The marinated tri-tip was piled high… slightly warm. The roll was warm, soft and fresh. Topped off with the yummy tomato garlic aioli! What a great lunch. There is nothing negative to say about my lunch. The crowning touch was the Groupon discount!
I have a sandwich in the refrigerator for lunch tomorrow. The Spa’s Nova Scotia…$ 6.75 Smoked salmon, cream cheese, tomatoes, onion, lettuce/ sprouts, and capers on the same soft genova french roll… also with a side of the potato salad. I can’t wait to sink my teeth into that one tomorrow… hmmm, on second thought, why wait till tomorrow! :) Find this little hidden of a gem Café. It is in the same strip mall were T&S Xtreme BBQ used to be… right across Thornton Road from Bear Creek Veterinary Hospital. I will return!
