I needed to find someone quick and someone with the true talent of being a barber. After reading the reviews of this place and about Chris; well, I had to try it and he picked up the phone and set the appointment. I was not disappointed. Neither will you. My new home.

Chris is the best barber I’ve had. I never leave feeling like I didn’t get the haircut that I wanted. They always have community events and are really dedicated to helping the revitalization of Stockton. Definitely the best Barber shop in Stockton.

I’ve always dreaded getting my hair cut. I never really know how to describe what I want, and it’s hard to build a good bro relationship with someone you see once every couple months. But this shop… oh, this is different.
I walked in randomly one day. I decided it was time to get the mop on top of my head cut. A friend of mine comes here, so I figured I’d try it out. The second I walked in all the barbers greeted me, Andy Griffith Mayberry style, and offered me a drink and a seat while I waited. Waiting to get my haircut was no problem, as the guys in there had the typical playful banter and jokes with each other that kept the place lively and filled with chuckles.
I didn’t know it at the time, but the guy I let cut my hair, Chris, is the only person I’ll ever trust with scissors near my head again. He took my nonsensical directions for cutting my hair and turned it into a masterpiece. I got compliments for weeks after getting it cut by him. I was sold.
I waited a full 10 weeks before getting it cut again, roughly equivalent to a century in haircut-​years. I could barely recognize myself in the mirror, so it was time to get it cut. I went back, expecting to explain my haircut style to Chris all over again. I mean, the guy probably saw hundreds of people since my last haircut, surely he wouldn’t remember me. But I sat down in the chair, and Chris was like, «What’s up Josh? Same thing as last time?» TEN WEEKS since I had seen that guy. He is a god among barbers.
TL:DR — this shop is dope. Chris is amazing, make sure you make an appointment. 14 bucks for a haircut that won’t stop pulling the girls, and the dudes working there are super cool.

First review didn’t post so I’m back. I am in town for work and needed a haircut, Chris hooked me up and did an awesome job on the doo. This is an old school Barber, good vibe, no BS and VERY reasonable considering the quality of cut attention to detail and customer service. I would highly recommend and will be back. Thanks Chris!

After reading some Unilocal reviews, I thought I’d check this place out. Great group of guys bantering with each other while the evening news/​basketball game played in the background. I didn’t have to wait so that’s always a plus. I got my haircut (high n tight) done by Randy. He did an excellent job making sure I was squared away before I got out of his chair. Can’t beat a straight razor shave to clean up the neck. Great group of guys. I’ll definitely go back!

I HIGHLY recommend this barber shop! Its in a great location on the Miracle Mile and the barbers are excellent. My dad, brothers, and tons of male friends get their hair cut here. Stop in and visit Steven for a haircut and straight razor shave. Cal-​Pine also sells a local Stockton based pomade called Port City Pomade!

Awesome barbershop, great vibe and clean cuts. Prior to discovering this gem, I would have two other shops I would go to to get me cut (fade). However, I wasn’t a fan of the long waits and barbers became inconsistent with their cuts. Decided to switch it up and get a comb over & try a new shop.
Gambled on this shop with the $ 13 Unilocal offer, and was glad I took the risk. Chris did/​does an awesome cut every time, extremely consistent. Doesn’t waste much time BS’ing either. I’m usually in and out of the chair in under 25min! Clean fade without the lines showing, part cut in and line ups freshened up with a razor blade.
The shop is open early on the days they are open, which is an extreme plus if you’re in dire need of a cut and on a busy schedule. Seen kids get clean cuts here, so definitely another plus.
While I haven’t gotten a cut by the other gentlemen there I highly recommend giving this shop a try. You won’t be disappointed.

My boyfriend came to you with a floppy head of mop hair, and left looking sexy and clean cut. You successfully did your job and his hair looks pretty damn nice. 5 stars for you!

Definitely the best and kid friendly as well. Both barbers are great, my son goes to Chris for line up. We try lots of different cuts and styles and he is able to accommodate each one
