I took my 7 year old daughter to see Dralion in Stockton over the weekend and what a disappoinment it was. Although, my daughter was laughing at the clowns and she was impressed with the juggler and the long hair guy with the iron ball. I’ve seen 3 Cirque du Soleil shows in Las Vegas — KA, O and Mystere and all three had standing O at the end of the show. No one stood up for Dralion. All the performers worked hard, but the lack of direclton and storyline do not live up to the hype. A very disappointed Cirque du Soleil. The 2 stars are for the performers who kept on making mistakes, but never gave up and kept on trying.

I went to see Dralion at the Stockton Arena last night and was extremely dissapointed. This was my first Cirque du Soleil show in person(watched some on tv) and I was not impressed. There were a few decent performances that featured old school circus tricks(trampoline, juggling, jumprope), but nothing compared to what I would expect or what I have seen on tv. Unfortunatly the show was 40% tedious, annoying, intolerable french clowns, 20% bad dancing, 20% celtic style singing, and 20% acrobatics. I thoguht Cirque was suppossed to be full of dealth defying stunts? Well, not so with Dralion. I would recomedn saving your moeny adn going to a show like Alegria OR kOOZA.
