We don’t live near enough to frequent the Corner Tap, and that’s a serious problem for me. Love this place. Facility highlights are the personable owners and the beautiful beer gardens out back. Food highlights are the homemade marinara sauce for dipping, the seasonal homemade cold pasta salad, and the pizza. Prices are reasonable — almost too reasonable, but don’t tell anyone I said that. We only come to town a few weeks of each year, to camp at nearby Apple River Canyon State Park, but if we lived closer I would buy gallons of that homemade sauce, and pass it off as my own. Delicious.

Stopped by here because it was the only place in the county with a Unilocal review.
Unfortunately, they don’t serve pizza until 5:00 p.m. on some days, so I’d recommend calling ahead. I was not able to try the pizza.
Overall, well-priced bar food with a friendly staff. I had a cheese burger and fries. Two large HDTVs were more than I expected based on geography.
