D Thrift Store

I love shopping here, but the ’ boutique ’ idea is silly. It’s a thrift shop for goodness sake. It’s just a ploy to exclude the military discount I can receuve in my eyes. Everything I wanted to purchase there last week was marked ‘save for Brenda’ which I found out is an employee there. The other items were «for display». Why do they have to display thrift store items; are they not trying to sale things? The manager refused to sale me a bookshelf because they wanted to display knick knacks on it, wt?

Stopped here to look for stuff for an 80’s party this weekend. Looks a bit scary from the outside, but it IS Stockton! Found a couple cute sweatshirts and an awesome acid washed jean jacket… doesn’t get more 80’s than that!
The store is clean enough and has plenty of people working. Prices were pretty good and we actually paid less at the register than what was marked on the items so we were psyched about that. The store is mostly clothes and shoes but has some household appliances and bikes. They even had 3 salon pedicure chairs for sale. It’s worth a look if you’re in the area.

Average store compared to others in the area. Their electronics department is a little over priced but you might get lucky and score a good item. Worth a stop though.

Always smells like dirty feet and mold but you can find some cool stuff if you dont mind dirt. some of the boutique dolls are way overpriced. Cabbage patch kids with no clothes and pen marks for 20 bucks is way overpriced.

It’s funny how it always seems whenever I go thrifting, I never find what I’m looking for but I find irresistible deals too good to pass up.
Such was the case at D Thrift last week. Came here with my girls looking for fur for costumes. No fur but… Found 7 for all Mankind jeans in great condition for $ 6.95! My friend found a pair of Cititzens of Humanity jeans for the same price and a barely worn pair of Sperry shoes for $ 9.95!
Total bill between the two of us: $ 25. I’ll be coming back here for clothes! Deal is understatement.
I also checked out the shoes and furniture area. I wasn’t impressed with anything in these sections.
All thrift stores I’ve been to are comparable in customer service and atmosphere. My judgement relies on a store’s exceptional qualities, especially compared to its competitors. For D Thrift, it’s their deals in clothing that set them apart.

I have been a loyal customer for months and never have a I EVER experienced a bad day until yesterday. HORRIBLE. I was next in line just like most people are supposed to and I assumed that I was going to be helped next, but instead the second cashier helped customer that just walked up to her without even waiting in line. And after helping the customer, she decided to go on break –_​_​_​-​. So now we were left with one SLOW cashier. There was a long line and the other cashier decides to go on break… I was frustrated. I was very disappointed. I thought in retail customers are always number one priority. I literally waited in line for nearly 40 minutes (and I kept track of time) and saw that I was going to have to wait longer, so left with nothing. I couldn’t leave my stuff behind the counter for like 5 minutes and come back. I saw some other lady do it, so I thought I could do it too, but apparently not. I even asked the cashier if I could leave the stuff with her and come back real quick just like the other customer did because I needed to be somewhere and she still said no –_​_​_​– Are you kidding me? So i just dumped my items (which I had a lot of) and left. The prices are okay, but definitely not worth waiting in line for nearly an hour.

Not sure if it was the city we were in but people here give you crazy looks, My first time here as i am minding my business i can feel people just giving you looks. Not saying excuse me, or when you are walking through the isle will not move, out of curitsy.
The stuff here is crazy cheap but i doubt i will return.

small and the clothing selections were terrible. i did not see one thing i ‘kind of’ liked. maybe they had a few vintage suitcases that i wouldve like to own if i ever wanted to waste money and space in my house… but it doesnt concern the present. i highly doubt that i would return to this place.

I work up in Stockton sometimes, filling in. and on long lunch breaks I roam around sometimes. one day I came upon this store and searched around.
I found a Kindle Fire for $ 50! wow! Who knew?! The staff was surprised I found such a great find!
Anywho… I never usually like thrift stores cuz they are usually pretty disorganized. but I liked this place. on the cleaner side, as thrift stores go, and friendly helpful staff.
I’m not sure what a few of the other Unilocalers were talking about. I thought the staff was pleasant enough. maybe I just got lucky. but I’m happy with my random find. I use my Kindle Fire all the time!

This store used to be my go to Thrift store back in 2007 – 2008. But in these past years I seriously don’t know what the heck happen here, this store has gone from super awesome to good to OK to horrible now. Yes they have some cheap stuff but all of their stuff is crap, is broken, or is missing something major; so I recommend you to really take a look at what you are buying before you take it home. most of their stuff is soooo over price, that you can easily go to ROSS or Marshall’s and get the same stuff brand new and wayyyy cheaper. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS THOSE GIRLS BEHIND THE COUNTER ARE SO FREAKING RUDE AND MEAN NOT TO MENTION I HAVE HEAR THEM CURSE AT EACH OTHER AND TALK CRAP ABOUT HOW PEOPLE LOOK, DON’T KNOW IF THEY REALIZE PEOPLE CAN HEAR THEM BUT SERIOUSLY WHAT KIND OF CRAP IS THAT? This Thrift shop business is going down the drain and is for sure going on my list of places I will never shop again :)

Love the cosmetics there! No more drug store products. Prices are ok. Service is okay but household goods are worth every penny.

Better now that they’re under new management. But their prices are HIGH. Decent stuff but not bargain prices on most things.

New owner!!! looking for trendy clothes this is the place it’s alway a hit and miss sometime. But it’s huge and awesome used furniture.

This place was in the middle of nowhere. The line was too long and they only had one cashier for a line of 10+ people. I spotted a few things I wanted but my friend Toni and I were in a rush and didn’t want to wait in the horrendous line so I just left everything there and went home.
I thought their sale was confusing. They had a sign in the front explaining what was on sale and what wasn’t based on the written dates that were labeled on each item. Honestly though, it shouldn’t be rocket science. Make sales easier with colored tags or something! I’ve found cheaper things at thrift stores in sacramento and would rather not wait in their line.

I absolutely loved this store. I got some great pieces of furniture and three vintage pyrex dishes for 20 bucks!!! That is just ridiculous.
I will be coming back to you Delta Thrift. Don’t disappoint me!

This store is huge. It doesn’t look very appealing, but I found it great to go to shop for an ugly sweater Christmas party. And boy, did we find a lot of ugly crap, for dirt cheap prices! All of the sweaters were like a couple dollars after the additional markdowns. This is definitely not a shop I’d go to find cool vintage things… maybe you’d find some if you look really hard, but this place gave me a headache after a while.
If you need a place that has a large selection of cheap crap you need for clothes to make into a costume, this would be the place. It was pretty easy to find what we needed.

This store is really junky — kind of dirty. Things are just thrown everywhere and anywhere. The prices are decent. Some items were a little overpriced, in my opinion. But they had a huge selection: lots of clothes, dishes, bags, etc. I got a few vintage scarves for .22 cents. I shop at lots of thrift shops in Orange County, so this shop is super reasonable price wise.
Each week they have a number that is half off, so if you find an item with that number, it is half off. They also give you a punch card which is kind of cool.
I’m a fan, I’ll probably come back next time I’m in town.

Delta Thrift used to reside in the same shopping center a few buildings down, where it was much more run down and tacky. Now it’s in a nice big building and much cleaner. I would never go to if it hadn’t moved. It’s a total shot in the dark place, meaning that you always have the potential of coming up on something good here or finding not a thing at at all. They have one of the best thrift shop boutiques in Stockton as it’s always loaded with nice stuff, i.e. antiques, watches, electronics, etc. It’s also astonishing as they usually have gorgeous antique furniture — I mean who gives stuff like that up?

Delta Thrift exists to let me know that Orange County has been screwing me over this whole time. (In terms of decent thrift store shopping, at least.)
The store is overwhelmingly huge and filled with a lot of great vintage
insane (cheap) prices. I showed my mother the fruits of my Delta Thrift thrifting adventure and she thought I broke the bank at Forever 21. Not that Delta Thrift carries tacky items… I’m talking Forever 21’s quality stuff.
I’ll agree with the previous Unilocaler, it is a little dirty, a little smelly… but hey. It’s a thrift store, not H&M.

this place is dirty, and its the thrift store that takes the shortest amount of time to make me sneeze. It has some things… it’s the last out of the four main thrift stores i’d go into…
It almost seems like this store got all the other stores’ leftovers… awww
but «A» for effort.
