This park has swings! My 8-year-old cousin was overjoyed :) Let’s keep it real… I’m in my 20s & I still love swings. I had forgotten how beautiful this park is with the tall oak trees & fragrant pine trees… it was so calming & peaceful. I had also forgotten how messy people can be. Koolaid Jammers littered the play area & had me thinking that people musta been awfully thirsty! And other people(or maybe even the same ones) had written some lovely language on the play structures, which my smart little cousin could unfortunately read. I lost count of how many times she said«Someone wrote the B-word over here too!». Seems like Stockton could do with less apathy & more thesauruses. Even so, the priceless smile on my cousin’s face when she saw the swings keeps this on my list of go-to parks to take youngins.
