McLeod Lake

This lake is attached to a channel that heads out to the Delta.
Small by any standard. Murky green in color but I did see some small little fish swimming along the rocks at the edge. Must be a good nursery for little fishy’s.
I saw a young man scouting out his spot for fishing but it was 100 degrees outside. I cant imagine fishing in that heat is very fun. I also cant imagine what fish could be caught in there?
There is a small marina in the lake. Which you come up to and dock your boat and walk up the park above.
Lexington Waterfront Hotel overlooks the lake which makes for great views. Makes you almost forget your in Stockton.
The Webster Event Center is also adjacent to the lake. I didn’t go over there but from what I could see that side was the more family friendly park side with shade trees, play structures and bike trails.
Its a nice little nook in the City of Stockton.
