Quik Stop

My wife and I have been going to this store for years and in my opinion it is the BEST around! They seem to take pride in their store, it is always clean and fully stocked. Their customer service is excellent and they take the time to get to know their regular customers. Their employees are nice, polite, always willing to listen and help you with anything you need. In all the years not ever have we been let down going here. I would like to say thank you by posting this and to let them know they are appreciated.

We recently started getting gas here and after 2 tankfuls we see our car is missing due the poor gas. We have been to many other stations for the same grade of gas and never had this problem before. Gonna try another brand today and see if this clears up.

Now while I usually do not create reviews I have the urge to do so at this location based upon quite a few experiences with this location.
Now when you look at the website it says the location is open 24 hours. This is not true. I work late and get home usually around 12 am so I typically want snacks between 3 to 4 am. Between 3 — 5am it is hit an miss of they are actually open. Typically they are closed.
The website doesn’t say if its only 24 hours for gas only. It says that the location itself is 24 hours. However if I want something around 3 to 4 good luck. I need to wait until after 5ish depending upon their mood.

Love the staff here, always very sweet and knows you by name. I don’t get gas unless I have to but even then it’s ok. I go every morning to get me and my coworkers our daily waters and sodas!

FRAUD! FRAUD! hey there’s a FRAUD alert! My friend pumps gas at this location here and there and everytiime he uses his card someone in the bay area purchases something with his card info. If I could give no stars I would but I settled with one. Probably a great place if you have cash but be careful using your card here.

I usually like to pump gas here after leaving my sister’s as it is always much cheaper than the other petrol competitors. But I tried to pump gas here this morning and I ended up driving across the street to Chevron.
First of all, when in the hell did Quik Stop start charging to use your debit card??? Debit is as good as freakin’ cash!!! I cancelled the debit transaction after getting a debit fee prompt and chose a credit transaction instead. Then the stupid pump told me to go inside and see a cashier — uh, no thank you. Your gas isn’t all that serious for the extra work or fee. For the fee you charge, I’d rather use it towards better gasolina.

I want to give this Quik Stop Market 3.5 stars… that rounds up to 4. Gotta be fair with my math.
This Quik Stop is on the corner of Mariners and Hammer in Stockton… all the way at the West end of Hammer right after you go under the 5 freeway. It is a medium sized store and has gas pumps at it like many Quik Stop Markets do.
Their gas prices are always about 10 cents cheaper than the Chevron across the street… the other day gas here at Quik Stop was $ 3.19 for regular unleaded and Chevron was $ 3.29. I do not usually fill up at a location like this but it is a nice price difference for people who do not want to buy the more expensive gas. At one time they used to charge a few cents more for credit gas transactions but I have not seen them do that for a while now. This is a nice practice because there is an Arco on the other side of the freeway that always has just about the same price for gas but Arco charges you a fee to use your debit card.
Believe it or not one of the things I have always liked about this and other Quik Stop locations is that this has been my place to get milk at decent prices when I do not feel like going all the way to Safeway or Food 4 Less. The price for 2 gallons of milk here is not too much more than it would be at one of the regular supermarkets without all the hassle.
Yeah, I drink tons of whole milk… so I care about how much it costs at the corner store.
I have never really bought anything else here… I have pretty much limited my purchasing here to gasoline and milk. But that keeps my car running and gives my cookies something to dunk in. That makes me happy.
