Safeway Gasoline

This gas station gets a lot of serious weirdo customers at night. I dont feel safe going here alone at night. The night crew seem very friendly and helpful. Where is security around here at night??? I saw one of the night workers here get harassed by a really sketchy looking person. The young man handled himself very professionally. If that was me that customer would of had a heavy object thrown at their face. I feel sorry for those workers. The manager needs to be notified that there is no security to be found at night and these night time people really need security. The manager must be an uncaring idiot.

I find myself coming to this location quite often to get gas. Unfortunately Safeway doesn’t honor when using your club card. The .03 cents off the gas anymore and spend $ 50 and get .10 cents off anymore. I’m not sure if it’s just the two locations in Stockton or Nation wide.
This location has a water/​air Station for you to use and sells junk food. They have about eight pumps here. So 16 vehicles can get thier gas. It crazy here all the time, so I can’t give you a ideal time to come.
Nothing ever stood out from the cashiers here. It just seems that there’s always two people always working and only one ringing people up for gas. While the other is always chilling in the room behind the registers. That would be my only complaint besides the savings on the gas.
I’ll find my way out here again in a few weeks, to get some more gas and maybe a ice tea

Costco is my first choice for gas, but it’s hard to beat this location. The major downside is the lines!!! People will seriously form lines 5 – 10 cars deep just to fill their tanks up with $ 5 worth of gas. (Never will understand that.)
The best time to fill up seems to be at night, especially on the week days, or early in the morning. But sometimes you can get lucky. When your car gets down to about ¼ full, keep your eyes open & try to stop by when there’s little to no line.

Well… they USED to give 3 cents discount with the club card.
but no more? The big sign in front says ‘0’ cents discount.
Costco is a better bet for gas…

$ 3.99! If you don’t have a rewards card your wasting money. The only problem is when people drive the opposite direction. Its supposed to be one way in one way out.

BUT, you’ll have to wait behind three to four cars. People STILL drive like it’s only $ 2.00gallon!!!

This is my location of choice to get gas in stockton. Cheapest place to get gas that accepts credit cards. Get a 3 cent/​gal discount by using your safeway card or phone number that is registered to a safeway card. They also have occassional promotions where if you buy a certain amount of groceries (such as $ 50 in one transaction, you get a 10 cent discount/​gal on your next trip to the pump). They open 6am to 11pm though so dont expect to get gas in the middle of the night.

Safeway gasoline has the lowest price in Stockton California. Get a Safeway card!
