When I came back from Hawaii in July, I just about fell to my knees when I opened my garage door and saw it raining from the ceiling. I couldn’t believe the toilet filler valve malfunctioned and started shooting water out of the toilet tank and flooded the majority of the upstairs and trickling downstairs. A call to AAA initiated the process to immediately dispatch Servicemasters and they were out to my house the very next morning. Tony Prasad and crew immediately assessed the situation and started damage control. They ripped out the saturated carpet and padding, opened up the walls and ceilings, and then brought out 18 fans and 3 dehumidifiers to initiate the drying process to inhibit the growth of mold. They were careful with my furniture and prepped my house for the contractors to do their thing to quickly get me back on my feet. He had this really neat moisture meter probe that he punches down onto the carpet and floors to determine if water got below the surface where you can’t see. This made the assessment process fast and accurate so they’re not removing more carpet than necessary. Tony provided me with his cell phone number so that I could call him and ask him questions while I was at work. His team did a excellent job of cleaning up all of their debris and making my nightmare as bearable as possible.
