Sherman’s Chinese Deli

Okay so I went to this place because of other Unilocalers said that the waitress is beautiful. The waitress was beautiful especially, when she smiles. She also kept my water always filled. I would not normally go to a small Chinese buffet but the place has a lot praises, and again the waitress if pretty/​beautiful.
Now, for the food — 3.5 stars for my taste but the value is plus 4 stars. I liked the pepper and salt fried chicken wings — ate enough of it to get my moneys worth with just the wings. The sweet and sour sauce was good — most of the places I have been to were just not that good if not theirs was just bad.
The broccoli (with beef) was just freshly cooked — I assumed it’s always that way. Other places their broccoli are just too over cooked and wilted from being in the warmer too long. 4 Stars for that dish. Their fried wontons were a bit chewy — they need a thinner wontons, for my taste. Spicy chicken was good — 4 stars; not too sweet or salty, and the right spiciness. That is the thing about their food — not too salty or sweet (as a lot of places like it that I have eaten). They just need to improved their fried rice, spring rolls, and fried vegetables (a bit too salty for me). I would go there again for the fried wings, broccoli, spicy chicken, and the pretty waitress.

I come for the cheap prices, huge portions, and the buffet. Oh and maybe a pretty waitress. I wish they had a bigger place because this place can get packed. Teriyaki chicken is the best item to get.

Enjoyed very much. Food was prepared fresh and hot. The buffet had a variety of fresh vegetables stirred fried and the garlic fried chicken was very tasty. Will definitely return. The waitress was very attentive.

Yesterday was the first time I had dinner at this place. Overall good food! Inexpensive as well. 2 people, 2 sodas and dinner price under $ 20.00 sign me up! Great taste and presentation. Service, 5 stars. Our server was super nice and friendly. She refilled our drinks and kept asking if we needed anything else. The food was yummy and delicious. I loved their chowmein and shrimp. Will come back for sure!

The food was pretty decent, not a large buffet but enough variety to satisfy your chinese food cravings, two different types of noodles, Orange chicken, pork fried rice, ribs, fried chicken, fried asparagus and about 4 other dishes. Very cheap I paid 7 bucks for dinner buffet or you can get 3 entrees to go for about 5 bucks cheap cheap cheap. A definite repeat.

Raising two stars to four stars. I feel the food has improved and stabilized. The food is consistent. You cannot beat the buffet deal.
$ 6 for lunch. $ 7 for dinner. Sodas are $ 1.35. That’s cheaper for a meal than McD’s!
They offer approximately 14 buffet selections (see the two videos that I posted). The selections can vary a bit from day to day. But the quality is good considering the price. They offer boneless garlic fried chicken that is quite yummy. The batter is just right… not to heavy. Once in a while they even have bbq spareribs on the buffet if you get there on the ‘right’ night!
Yeah, they are not in the best location but hey, low overhead means low prices!
I will return periodically…

This place is ok I only like two items here out of all the food they have. the fried rice and the Mongolian chicken is whats good to me other than that the rest of the food has fat and gristle on them and I mean everything and when I went to go and get a to-​go plate the older Chinese or asian lady kept rushing me to choose which was uncomfortable. Would i return? Maybe but just for those two items though.

Ate again and brought my Filipino Chinese friend who has very high standards. The lemon chicken was crispy, fresh and had very good flavor. Again, everything is fresh. They have high turnover on the food, so it’s always fresh. This is a good place for take out or eating in. The people here are friendly. Overall great experience for a buffet. The number of selections are small but it’s all well done.

Never again, I got a lunch to go and I’ve never seen so much grease in a container, it was so much grease I thought it was JOKE and then I realized there were no cameras this was the REAL Deal.

Hands down the best bang for your Buck Chinese buffet. You can’t beat their price. Me and my husband eat for less then $ 20. The owner is awesome and the place is always packed

Really started to like this place because of the affordable prices. The cockroach running across the table was not very appetizing tho.

Good fresh food and large amount for a affordable price. We keep on coming back. Good customer service.

I have to say food is very tasty and good! Found this place by driving by! The prices are worth it and not greedy on the amount of food! We will be back and the young boy that was working was very polite! I have enough food for lunch tomorrow too yahoo

It’s a small place that serves great tasting food for an amazing price.
We come here about every other week and every time is as good as the last.

They are doing everything right here. Stopped by for an early dinner. The restaurant is cozy and clean. The food is very tasty!
This buffet is a nice manageable size. The price is reasonable at 6.50 for dinner with drinks a dollar. There is a fine selection of food. My favorites on this first visit was Broccoli with Beef. hot and well-​flavored and the Garlic Chicken which had a perfect crispy coating.
Service was friendly and the tv on the wall was a pleasant diversion. I am glad I checked this out. I also took home two items for 3.95. It was a very heaping helping of Broccoli Beef and four pieces of Garlic Chicken.
I will certainly be back for the buffet or takeout. Both are excellent values. I highly recommend this place… a total winner.

Okay so I’ve been here twice and this last time will make me NEVER return.
1^st visit: buffet was delicious not to overcrowded.
2^nd visit: Today I have STREP THROAT and am contagious. I called in a order of wonton soup as to not infect anyone. I arrived, paid and told the lady after handling money she should wash her hands. I informed them I was sick and after handling my contagious $ 20 bill… SHE DID NOT WASH HER HANDS!!! Instead she went to handle the buffet food. That’s disgusting and puts future customers at risk. CROSS CONTAMINATION!!!
Regardless if I’m sick or healthy, I want to know that the establishments I attend are safe & clean. Also I apologize in advance if her poor hygiene does get someone sick.

I’ve been hearing good things about this restuurant as of late. The fam bam and I were driving back into town after a little road trip. So I decided to take my Mama and Eldest daughter here for dinner. We tried out the buffet to see how it was. I’ll say this we were very pleased. The food was great and the hospitality was great. The owner was going around each table and greeting everyone. Asking «how was the food’ and „how did you hear about us“ My mom replied „my son found you guys from Unilocal“
What was interesting was the party of three behind me found Sherman’s via Unilocal as well. I didn’t get their names or anything I just waved.
My Mom really liked the food and I was glad she came with us. I don’t get to take her out much. My eldest daughter really enjoyed the food. A few days later she called me and asked me „Dad where’s this place at?“ I’m taking my mom», I laughed a bit.
My second vist I came with my cousin and little brother. They wanted to eat Chinese food and Food 4 Less Chinese food is light weight getting played out for us. We came we ate and ate some more. This time I was mainly focusing on veggies, chicken and rice. Tearing it up like there was no tomorrow. My cousin really liked the food here. My little bro was telling me «this place is really good».
Service was great for us on my second visit as well. This time it was several female workers greeting everyone.
My third time I brought my heir to my throne. Having a Daddy and Son day. This kid is extremely picky, I had a conversation with my eldest daughter. She was asking me if «lil Pop» would like to eat here”? So that was on my mind. Well I told him it’s a buffet and give it a go. I was extremely surprised he had two servings and a plate full of garlic chicken. In my head I was like «hell yeah». As for yours truly, I got down with everythang. It’s all food to me, ya feel me?
Service again was on par and we were greeted by an elderly lady with a great smile.
So yeah I’ll be back here when my youngest wants to come and try it out here.

Very friendly hard working owner. Clean. Decent selection of about 12 – 15 items. Dinner buffet $ 6.50. Everything was pretty fresh. Meats were tender. Nothing was greasy. My expectations were definitely surpassed. You’re not going to get better food anywhere else at this price.

All you can eat lunch $ 5.50 it’s fresh and a good variety. Owner is very friendly. Only complaint for me is that they serve no white meat/​chicken breast. As I Unilocal more you will see I only like white meat and will usually only eat the chicken if it’s breast meat. I know that limits me but it’s what I like. But I did try the general chicken and Kung pow chicken here. General chicken was very tasty and king pow needed to be spicier. It tasted like they used the sweet and four sauce and just added chile flakes also needs more peanuts. Chow mein is ok not great but will do and fried rice is pretty good. Nice place to grab a quick cheap lunch.

This restaurant is very deserving of anther 5 star review!!!
The food it’s hot, fresh and tasty, especially with those cheap prices, plus people working there are so friendly and attentive.
I would defiantly recommend trying out this place!
