Taco Fiesta

I went today with my boyfriend and they have really bad service, the two girls working the cashier were very slow and rude. They had poor customer service. This restaurant was one of my favorites, and it is not anymore. I do not plan on going there ever again! I gave one start because the tacos I got were still good!

So they mess up my order… Didn’t notice until I got home way across town. I called and the girl remembered my husband and I. She was very nice and we agreed that my flautas would be replaced and for my inconvenience they would comp a torta since I wasn’t going to drive back out south right then.
We’ll 8 days later im in the neighborhood and think. mmmm tortas for my husband and kids and my flautas. …I call to place my order advise them to check for a note about my previous order… needless to say EVA was rude and I paid for my complete order minus $ 4 …now originally they owe me $ 6.99 plus tax and a free torta but WHATEVER. Don’t think I will be going back especially since they were sited for their toilet/​plumbing water draining to the sidewalk/gutter…Violations are public record look them up… they were cited today during their inspection

The sopes, nachos fiesta and the flautas are delicious !!! Great place to bring the kids

This used to be one of the best places around. Then something changed and for the worst. The service is still ok but the food is just horrible! My wife and I went there yesterday. I ordered the Carnitas plate and she ordered the Carnitas Sopes. Her sopes had almost no carnitas at all and my plate had about half mean and the other half was all fat. I had asked for extra tortillas and all they brought me were two. The Horchata we shared was way too watery with almost no flavor so we exchanged it for a Sierra Mist, which was also very flat. I would NOT recommend going here.

The super nachos are huge and delicious. The ceviche ain’t bad and the tacos are good. The tortas are super simple but good.
YES the place is on the south side! Get over it. Cops r usually eating there. I’ve never had a bum approach me. The service is friendly.

Give this a solid 4 stars not because of the prices, not because of the food but because the daughters working there are cute. I can go to any barber in the Bay Area and get a haircut but to have a cute one cut my hair, now that’s a plus. Same goes with food. There are some Mexican food that is better than others but to eat while watching eye candy I’m a happy camper. Oh and the food and prices went bad either.

I’ve never been disappointed with this place. They have amazing Carne Asada nachos. It’s not in the safest area, but they do have a drive-​thru. So you can get your food to go. If you are smart you will call ahead.
The employees are very nice. They make their chips fresh too. Nothing like freshly made chips. Very authentic Mexican food. Take a friend and check it out. You’ll be hooked

last time i remember coming here i got a burrito and it wasn’t that good. the reason was too many beans and not enough overall flavor on the burrito. This time i ordered what i usually get from here, the nachos fiesta.
They did not disappoint. Good size of nachos that comes with cheese all over and on the corners of the box you get sour cream, beans, jalapenos, and guacamole. Washed it down with some horchata that was Delicious. I’ll be back for some horchata and maybe something else next time.

Ok… last week we ordered chips and salsa and told them RED SALSA. They asked us mild or spicy? We said «mild». When we got home, we got the green salsa. WTH?
Then on our most recent trip, we ordered the soft chicken taco/​enchilada plate. Not wanting to get burned again, we decided to check our order before waving adiós. Sure enough, our soft taco was crispy. Pinche.
I go in and tell the chica. Hey… we ordered soft and you put the crispy taco in there. I also mentioned that they gave me green salsa the last time when we asked for red. She told me that the mild is green. WTH? Was I supposed to know this? Why didn’t she disclose this when I asked for the red? Hablas Ingles? Hablas Chino? Porque no hablamos?
So now they switched out the taco to soft. They were kind enough to give me TWO tacos for the mistake. Cool. Muchas gracias. Not.
When we got home, we opened up the styrofoam and what did we see? Two soft tacos with BEEF! Now how the eff did you swap the pinche carne now?
Aye carumba! People – checkity check your order!

I really like the burritos here, and the goat (though they don’t have that every day). Also there is a small salsa tray in the middle that has some good add-​ons. They keep the place pretty clean, and the service is great.

I guess I like this place by default because of its vicinity to my main work office and it has a drive-​thru. The food itself is decent and comes at a fair price. The menu selection is actually quite extensive and has just about anything Mexican you desire, except Narcotics… The inside of the restaurant is pretty clean and the service is friendly… There are also no panhandlers or any other members of the vagrant type hanging around… Many of the dining patrons seem to be working class county workers or El Concilio employees trying to save the world… I especially like the variety offered at the salsa bar with all the extra fixings for you’re desired selection… Be sure to wash everything down with a large Horchata drink… It’s great tasting and cheap!!!

I love there burritos!!!

I’m very picky when it comes to Mexican Restaurants. So the only things I eat there when I go is Ceviche de Camaron (shrimp) and Carne Asada Nachos. Their Carne Asada Quesadilla is also good. Their prices are not that bad either so swing by and give them a try.
