Our go to place for Indian food. We order take out usually. Their food is the best! We’ve tried several different Indian restaurants and this spot is our family’s favorite. We love the chicken tikka masala and chicken. curry. And naan bread of course. We always end up satisfied!

One of the best Indian restaurants in Northern California! Have eaten here a number of times. Jassi the owner is awesome and so is his family that works there. He does a great job of catering all over the Bay Area. It’s a perfect place to stop for lunch or dinner on your way to Tahoe or Reno like we are doing today. Tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala, and muttar paneer are especially delicious.

Excellent food and service! This beautiful family welcomes you and treats you like their own. They are not in a hurry. They are in the business of hospitality, grace, and fabulous Indian flavors! I spent six months traveling through India in he 90’s and this is the only restaurant that has maintained that Indian authenticity! Love it!!!

I love coming here, the food is always consistently delicious. The servers and owners are always super nice and welcoming. My favorite dish is the lamb saag and mango lassi drink. Also always order some nan, my favorite is the onion nan.

Please don’t go here. Food is horrible. Service is slow. Bathrooms are dirty. I stopped here on my way from Tahoe. I was hopping for some nice Indian food after a full day of skiing. But this was so bad. Tandoori paneer came like an extra sweet paneer curry in a sizzling plate! What happened to paneer nicely done in skewers? Why would you add a sweetish tomato sauce to the paneer? Why the zucchini in paneer? Dal fry is supposed to be dal. But it tasted of low quality spices. The spices were uncooked and you could taste them. You couldn’t not taste the flavored of the lentils because the uncooked and cheap quality and oil were so overwhelming. Lamb saag had the same story. There was hardly any flavor of saag. A good saag dish should have natural saag flavors. This was just green paste with again uncooked spices and reeked of cheap oil and flavors that did not seem correct. Bathroom was dirty and badly needed renovation and some love and care. Service was super slow. We tried giving a feedback to them about the food but it was more or less ignored. Never again here. Please stay away for this place.

My favorite Indian restaurant in town! The buffer is worth it if you go closer to when it starts. They’re chicken tikka masala and naan are the best!

Just stopped by here while coming from Lake Tahoe. Don’t have any words other than will never come back here. Horrendous veg and non-veg items both.

The food is worst. Malai kofta, dum aloo, paneer tikka masala have the same gravies with similar taste. Butter chicken and chicken curry is worst. Not at all recommended.

My fiancé and I just ate here for the first time. It was incredible! We had their lunch buffet which had a very nice variety to choose from and it was very flavorful. We also ordered the Mushroom Matar and that was our favorite thing! The staff was very helpful and kind. I would give this place more stars if I could.

This is the first place I’ve ever tried Indian food. It was amazing. The staff Explain the menu to me. I ordered butter chicken, rice, naan, and wine. Oh my god! Was that chicken so amazing! The server was on point every time I need a water refill. He checked up on us regularly. A great place if you are in Stockton, nice quiet ambience

It was my first time to try out Indian Food… Food was okay… Fish Pakora was dried… The only thing we liked was the bread… and Mango Lassi was good. The people who worked there were nice… Serving was small…

This place is a hidden gem. Growing up pretty sheltered in Stockton, I hardly ventured out to these areas. However, living in New Jersey and New York for the past 8 years have taught me that the best places are found where you least expect them. I was here 4 years ago with some friends and it was a completely memorable experiences. So much so, that when my husband and I recently moved back here to spend time with my family, I knew this was one place I had to take him to. We came here for the $ 8.99 lunch buffet and there were quite a few people already there. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. We were even told that the buffet was mild but if we wanted it spicy, they would give us the heat we wanted. Luckily it wasn’t necessary. What I picked from the buffet was the Chicken Tikka Masala, Curry Chicken, Paneer Saag, Rice, and Curried Lentils. Each had their own distinct and delicious flavor. The buffet came with naan– but I forgot to order the Garlic Naan which was what made my first time there so memorable! I actually ordered it to-go because… UGH its so good! Additionally I ordered veggie samosa which were as delicious as I remembered. I’ll definitely be back for my Indian fix!

Came here on a weekday in gym attire. Gym was right next door, girl was hungry, and grilled chicken smell wafted through the parking lot, so off we entered Tandoori Nights for the first time. This is a fine dining restaurant, but waiter accommodated us with our sweat laden bodies. We ordered the complete meal for one, which we shared. It was enough for me and my girlfriend. The meal came with the naan, rice, grilled assorted meats, and the awesome curried lamb. The bomb was the very savory curried lamb, we wiped it all with our naan sheets. We love the green and brownish sauces that came with our meal. I’m sure I’m coming back to experiment with the rest of the menu. Four stars because i don’t like the chairs, they are so dated, Please Tandoori, get rid of the 80’s chairs.

Great Indian food! My friend and I always get one order of the medium spicy Chicken Tikki Masala with an order of garlic naan, and they are amazing. If you can handle spice, definitely get it a little spicy! Comparing it with the mild, I think it adds a little more flavor. The only complaint is that sometimes they only give one bowl of rice, no matter how many people I’m with, which is a little annoying. But other than that, the food is amazing. I’ve tried Swagat, and while that restaurant is great too, I feel like Tandoori Nites is much more authentic. The interior is pretty large, and very homey. It feels like I’m in the very large dining room of an Indian family. Service is great, and I love this place!
