I love Torrid and their clothes. When Torrid first opened in Stockton, I was so excited because either I shopped online or shopped at their Modesto store. The customer service (or lack of) that I have experienced is just plain rude. I don’t get greeted when I walk in nor am I asked if I need any help. The associates just stand around at the register, talking with one another while I look at the clothes racks.
Or if I am even approached, I’m hounded by someone that works there. If I say that I don’t like a particular style, quit offering it to me in a different size or color.

99 percent of their clothes are FUGLY. To me, it is kinda annoying when you feel pressured to keep buying clothes from the associates. Great thing about it, I returned clothes that did not meet my taste the next day. lol I think this store is overpriced. Clothes range from 25 and up! Nothing cheaper. Staff seems pretty friendly. I just wished they had better styles. Just cuz we are plus size does not mean we have to wear ugly clothing. And just cuz its flattering does not mean it looks good.

i went in here to check out the really cute accessories… too bad if you’re not «plus size» they will discriminate. i was waiting in line to buy the bag, and the sales person kept on talking w/​another blah blah yeah i think they suck!

love the clothes service comes across s fake so minus a star for that. overall a nice experiance. lil pricey but I can live with that.
