Going to the dentist can be like pulling teeth! Sorry, bad joke.
But in all honesty, if you’ve gotta go to the dentist, go here. I’ve been going here for at least 10 years– the staff has even kept all my pictures throughout the years showcasing my bad hair days (who am I kidding? More like bad hair years!) to prove it. (Note to self: talk to the staff about discarding said pictures.)
They’ve recently upgraded their X-​ray equipment so that images of your teeth pop up on the computer within 10 seconds. This prevents that whole «we have to take you all the way back to the X-​ray room to retake the X-​rays» because they know instantly if they need to retake them right then & there!
Best of all: every time I’ve called to make an appointment, they’ve been able to fit me in within the next couple of days. Yay for an awesome staff & for clean, healthy teeth!

If you want top-​notch dental care in a city where that’s seemingly non-​existent; look no further than Dr. Reed and Dr. Toy! I’ve been a patient at this practice since I was 13 years old, and I recommend ANYONE looking for second-​to-​none professionalism and dental work here.
Thankfully, I’ve always taken care of my teeth and have never required intense dental work– but I do unfortunately know of folks who aren’t as lucky and are in desperate need of help. Every time, I send them here. Every time, they are thankful I did.
I initially had Dr. Toy as my primary dentist, and he is a wonderfully knowledgable and professional man. Exactly the kind of dentist who makes you feel comfortable and at ease. Let’s face it, not every dentist can say they possess those qualities! However, I heard he is due to retire soon and Dr. Reed is taking over the practice. Nine times out of ten, Dr. Reed is now the dentist people see.
Dr. Reed joined the practice in either late 2009 or early 2010, I don’t recall exactly when. Either way, he is a fantastic dentist, being as new to the profession as he is. He goes out of his way to really show and explain to you in precise detail what your procedure is. I have a friend who is a new patient of Dr. Reed, and when he came in– he was petrified. But Dr. Reed made it so he felt relaxed and confident in no time. After a few visits, Dr. Reed was 100% familiar with his dental needs and did a great job giving my friend the perfect, healthy smile he’d always wanted. You really cannot say that with most other dental practices, that often have several different dentists performing on a patient at any given time. That’s a dangerous gamble you’ll never have to take here.
The reception and dental hygienist staff at this office are all incredibly friendly and personable women, as well. It is, in a sense, a family practice. Dr. Toy’s daughter is a receptionist, and she is Dr. Reed’s wife! Another receptionist has a daughter who works here as a hygienist.
I’ve always noticed everyone working at this practice takes the time to get to know their patients. When I come in, they ask specifics about my parents (also patients) and grandparents. It’s good to know you’re considered a person, and not just another face.
If you are looking for A+ dentistry, professionalism, and friendliness– give this place a try!

Heard about Dr. Toy from a ‘friend’. I have been scouting out
different dentists. I am glad that I found Dr. Toy’s office. He
now has a ‘partner’ with him, Dr. Reed. Dr. Reed is a young
dentist who recently graduated from UOP School of Dentistry
and joined Dr. Toy’s practice. I am sure that I will have interaction
with Dr. Reed in the future also.
I had a mini crisis that I wanted to have checked out by a dentist.
I stopped by their office last Friday afternoon. Even though they
close at noon on Friday, Dr. Reed was still at the office and the door
was unlocked. I spoke to Dr. Reed at length about my problem.
He was very pleasant and patient explaining how his office works
and what I should do next. He suggested that I call Stephanie of
his office staff on Monday. I was out and about this afternoon so
I stopped in and talked to Stephanie. She told me that if I fill out
the paperwork, they would be able to see me immediately! That
was a pleasant surprise. I was seen by Dr. Toy. A very calm and
knowledgeable Doctor. They first took an xray of the area of concern
and within a few minutes Dr. Toy was probing around in my mouth
with ‘those tools’. After several minutes of doing that, he asked his
staff to bring in some charts so he could explain to me what was going
on and what my options were. I was very impressed with his demeanor
and knowledge and with the time he spent with me going over the details.
Now that I have all the ‘facts’, I am in a position to make an intelligent
decision. On my way out I stopped by the reception desk to pay.
Stephanie said the only charge would be for the one xray! Wow.
what a shock. I was anticipating being charged for the time the Doctor
spent with me. I thank Stephanie, Dr. Toy and his staff for the consideration they showed me today…
