Not Of This World Tattoo & Piercing

I should have posted my review earlier. I got my tattoo back in September. I researched places and saw the reviews and the award. From the pictures online, the shop looked very clean and organized. I was excited because my friend and I had been discussing for months about getting tattoos. We finally chose our date and headed out. On arrival, I was so impressed with everything I saw. Candi, the artist, was extremely professional and had a great sense of humor. She definitely had an easy-​going nature.
We explained to and showed her what we were looking for. She told us to wait a few minutes while she drew up the concept and when she was done, the work was recognizable but she had altered it just enough that it wasn’t exactly the same as someone else’s tattoo. I really appreciated that.
My friend had hers done first. And it was her first tattoo, in honor of her father. Candi and I helped to comfort her. We laughed and tried to get her mind off of things. Candi was still focused on her work. Excellent. After that short time, I was next. While my friend’s tattoo is on her wrist, my tattoo would be on my shoulder. My first tattoo was on my wrist and I don’t remember it being painful. It was years ago. So, when Candi started on my shoulder, I stayed so still and quiet. It wasn’t pleasant, but I expected that. Candi has a steady hand so the pressure didn’t change wherever the design went.
It was such a great experience overall. I highly recommend Not of This World. I went back a few weeks later because I thought it had looked odd and I thought I found pus (gross — I know). I’m not really an expert on tattoo healing (my first is small and healed very fast; and this has color in it), and I was so worried about taking care of it. Candi and her husband were both there to look at it and they eased my mind. I felt silly, but they were both kind and said it looked normal.
Now, it looks great! I will definitely have Candi do my next tattoo!

My wife and I got matching tattoos on our ring fingers, in celebration of our 16^th wedding anniversary. Candi did an awesome job from collaboration to application to completion. The establishment is spotless and Candi is extremely knowledgeable about the art of tattooing and piercing. Check it out!

Omg! I love this place! The artists Trinity and Candi are very talented. They always make me feel very comfortable… If you want a great tattoo or piercing stop by this spot…:-)

I had previously researched them online after trying to find a place to get my first tattoo and gauge piercing. When I first walked in I was welcomed with kindness and noticed how nicely the place was decorated. I was gonna get the smallest gauge piercing there, but Candi helped me grow a pair and size up to 8g (I think) and it was a fantastic experience, everyone was friendly towards me, and I will most definately be back for my tattoo!
