So in addition to my last post, I have to rave about the escovitch king fish! Oh my! I am glad my sister visited and asked if they had escovitch. And I am glad they were out of snapper. Maaaaan that taste sis let me have reignited my red hills addiction. This is a must try. Make sure you request the king fish!

Piss poor customer service. I come here all the time. They guy behind the counter was so rude today. I order a large jerk chicken and only got 4 cut up pieces of chicken. I come to this place at least twice a week. I will not come back. I will find another Jamaican restaurant to frequent. This is why I find it so hard to support black owned businesses.

Best Jamaica jerk this side of the island. However, the service is the worst. They frequently run out of food(jerk in particular), the wait time on your food is very long; whether call in or pick up. whatever time they are due to open, the doors don’t open until 15 – 20 minutes later, if you call in for jerk around 12 it won’t be ready until after 1. One of the young ladies who takes the orders looks as if she is bothered by business coming in every time I go. Not sure how it is they stay in business other than the delicious food. But the operation and the service is not desirable. #keepingit100

This place is okay ! Isn’t the best I’ve had, I had oxtail with rice and peas. The rice and peas wasn’t a good recipe, the rice was over cooked. The oxtail sauce was off. It just isn’t what I am used too and I’m not even Jamaican but the food was ok. I ate it cause I was hungry. Need a new recipe or better cooks

This is the best Jamaican food in the entire city!!! I travel near and far to try Jamaican restaurants and this has surpassed them all. The jerk pasta is to die for and so are the oxtails and jerk chicken. I love this place!!!

Love this place! Their food is great! I stopped going around November 2014 because I noticed their health score had dropped to 70%. I went back a few months later to see if they’d improved, and they did. Their health score improved to 90%. Their food is great; customer service is ok. The only reason I am taking off one star is because the wait time is always so long. I order over the phone ATLEAST30 minutes before I actually plan to go in. Oh, and they don’t accept American Express, that is an inconvenience as well.

Food is hitting hands down. That Jerk chicken is the best I’ve had in the city. The only downside is the wait. Expect to wait about 25 mins for your order even if you call it in. Also, no one appears to be in a rush. It’s like they are doing a favor… But of you have no where to be fast. Stop by. Get the Jerk chicken or curry goat.

I try to come here anytime I’m in that part of town because it’s an hour from my house. I’m never disappointed. This is truly authentic Jamaican foods. It’s very close to the seasonings that my Jamaican friend creates. I’ve always recommended this place to everyone. The prices and proportions will not disappoint you. This place is a must!

Good authentic jerk chicken, pan jerked not oven. Not over priced. Only thing is the line can get a bit long depending what time you go. But good Jamaican jerk chicken!

This place tastes great, but I give it 2 stars because it gave me a terrible stomach ache. I had the jerk chicken pasta.

Beef pattie is good. Softer. Bigger. Than their competition. The chicken is on white dough. And flakier than most. More black pepper but not spicy like that of jamaica kitchen. Lacking on the flavor profile too. No veggie pattie tho it’s on the menu. Tried their veggie plate with rice and peas. Like the rice. The veggies tho cooked well are kinda bland. Calaloo is made to order and at 2:30 in the afternoon there was no chef. So no go. Bottled sorrel is no go.

The jerk chicken is very good. The service wasn’t as fast as I would have liked but it was ok.

I’ve been coming here for years and I have never been disappointed. The food is amazing and the atmosphere of the restaurant is great. If you are looking for authentic, affordable, tasty Jamaican food in the Stone Mountain-Lithonia area this is the place to come!

I previously had this place rated 4 stars because of its food. But unfortunately after 3 attempts to order the jerk chicken white I have revised my rating. I have been told 3 times straight they are out of my selection of food. This has occurred during mid day & within hours of closing. I don’t understand how a business can sustain not having what the customers want. For now, I will have to go with other options for Caribbean cuisines until Red Hills can get their act together again.

The jerk chicken is great if you can get some! They NEVER have it! I’ve learned to call this place BEFORE I waste my time to go. EVERY time I called they never have it. I call when they open, no jerk chicken, I call hours before they close no jerk chicken! Who runs this place?! HORRIBLE customer service as well uhhh

I haven’t been to this place in over a year because I relocated to California now that I’m back I can’t help but to crave their jerk chicken. The jerk chicken is grilled and very tender. Now the service is bad but come on it’s a Jamaican restaurant not Ruth Chris or STK. I’m not expecting quality service I’m expecting great food at a reasonable price and this is the place.

Great food. Jerk is amazing and nice portion sizes. The service sucks! Except for the younger girl with long hair she is very polite. Food is good. But how are you named the jerk center but you run out of jerk EVERYday? I say try it at least you will be pleased with the food.

The food is great(better most caribbean restaurants) BUT the service is AWFUL!!! No customer service courtesy, servers dismissive and rude! NO one knows how to apologize when there is an order mixup. Will no longer spend my money there despite how good the food is. Overall bad experience.
