It was my friend’s turn to choose a restaurant. She and her friend really enjoyed the food but I didn’t because I don’t eat fried food. I ate only the chicken fingers in my meal but this is not good food to me. It is very unhealthy and I didn’t think it was tasty either. The restaurant was kept up and clean. The staff were polite and professional. I ordered the chicken fingers which were supposed to be baked but were fried and then baked so they were hard. Tasty but hard. The potato salad was mediocre and I only had about 3 fork fulls. I had a slice of the vanilla pound cake which was superb and reminded me of the one I bake. We were there for about 2 ½ hours and I will say that at times the place was packed from time to time, the take-out line always had people waiting so obviously others think this place is great. It just isn’t my cup of tea.

After reading the raving reviews I had to try this place, especially since I only lived 5 minutes away. Was I disappointed. Perhaps my mistake was in ordering the shrimp dinner(12 pieces of shrimp, cole slaw, 2 hush puppies, and lots of crinkle fries). I tried the cole slaw. What a disappointment. What taste it had was bitter. The hushpuppies were hard; I had to tear them apart to eat them. The fries were pretty standard fare. The shrimp were tasteless and over cooked. Maybe the fish is better. But for my $ 12.00(the price of the shrimp dinner) I felt I would have been better off going to Captain D/s.

This place has the goods! Ordered the 3pc catfish combo. It is served with 2 hushpuppies, fries and a fountain drink. The fish was hot, fresh and well seasoned. The hush puppies had a little sweet flavor to them. They put you in the mind of Jiffy condbread. Yay! What a great place! I’ll be back and my fam will too.

Best catfish on the eastside. Love how they always give you one or two extra pieces of fish with your order.

This is the best Supreme Fish Delight I’ve been to. The service is always fast and the food is cooked to order which means fresh and hot. The fish is well seasoned and breaded perfectly and they give you good portions.

I live in Pine Lake, so the fact that I can saunter over here and get great fish within walking distance is awesome. I think most fish places are mostly the same, but this Supreme Fish stands out for a few reasons. First, though it’s not Muslim-owned, all the guys who work there are Muslim, which matters to me because it’s a quiet relief to walk in anywhere and get greeted with a «Salaam.» Second, though the chicken is not zabiha halal, they do fry the chicken and fish in different oils, so I don’t have to worry about chickeny-fried fish or vice versa. Third, I really believe they have the best fish sandwiches in the city. Try the catfish sandwich with everything. Dude! With a drink and bean pie, you’re only setback about $ 7. Who can go wrong with that?
