We had my little niece’s 5th birthday party here last Saturday. It was a cute mermaid theme! We had 8 children and two adults. There was plenty of space. All the kids enjoyed themselves. Once you get there, they have cute dresses that fit your theme(completely optional). They did mani and pedis, hair, and charm bracelets. They had plenty of time on stage to dance, sing and get some energy out(they gave them form mics). Once all of the partying was done, they were called one by one to the table sit down. The had treats and pink lemonade. Pizza was optional but we didn’t get it due to having a big party/cook out right after. All the children want to go back. The set-up was amazing and elegant. The staff were great, I would definitely return!

My daughter attended a party here and loved it so much that she asked to celebrate her 6th birthday here. It’s a 2-hour party, and the staff does a great job making sure there is enough to do to keep a group of 12 little girls entertained. The space and staff are terrific. There isn’t a parking lot at the space, but there is street parking and a public lot a couple blocks away.

My daughter attended a 5 year old birthday party at Sugar Plum Parties last month. It was really fun and definitely a very unique party. The venue consists of a stage with lights and a bubble machine with a big couch in front of it so that parents can sit and take pictures of their kids, and a few tables to eat. This was a wonderful photo opportunity and I wish i had brought more than my iPhone. The kids looked very cute and the background was literally perfect. This is the princess party to top all princess parties! The kids made stuffed animals(that were NOT high quality — fyi). The girls didn’t really do anything to make the animal. The chose the animal and pushed a pedal that operated the stuffing machine. The activity was more about getting the animal, less about making it. The kids also got their nails and hair done, and then got some sparkly gems put on their cheek. They spent most of the party dancing on the stage to music from Sofia the First. This was fun at first, but I thought it got old after awhile. I felt the kids were sick of it, and also may have been uncomfortable with the number of adults staring at them. The party ended with each girl being announced using a microphone, and called over to pretty princess tables, where they had pizza and pink lemonade in tea cups, then cake. If this venue is right for your party, then I wouldn’t hesitate. This is definitely not the right place for many parties though. There wasn’t enough to do to get the kids energy out. Most things involved waiting for an adult to do something to you, versus actually engaging in something yourself.

We had an amazing experience with Sugar Plum Parties! We celebrated my daughter’s 5th birthday with a «Royal Princess Tea Party». The girls decorated cookies, dressed up in princess gowns, got their nails painted, hair styled in adorable up-dos and they all made a stuffed animal. They also danced and played bingo. Then they sat down for goodies and birthday cake at beautifully decorated tables with real china. It was a magical experience and my daughter loved it! The owner, and all the staff, is so nice and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this experience. We will be back!
