Hidden gem. Had sampled both sushi and cooked entrees. Fresh and tasty. Generous portions and reasonable prices. Sorry we waited so long to try.

Absolutely the best sushi I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten sushi across the entire east coast. Definitely worth the trip. Hibachi was great too.

Sakura is a really decent option for Sushi in stony point and neighboring towns. I have been to Sakura many times since it first opened. It is in a secluded strip mall, so not in a busy location at all.
The restaurant itself is cozy, and well decorated with cool booths. They have great lunch specials for around ten dollars or under. The bento box lunches, or hibachi lunches are a great deal, and come with a good amount of food. The lunch special with three rolls for 11 dollars is also super! The quality of the sushi is also top notch, and all the other food I have tried has been equally delicious. I would choose Sakura among the other sushi spots closer to my home, without having to drive to Nanuet and New city.

Best sushi around. It’s lovely inside BUT even better they deliver! Staff is great, food is amazing.

I really like the sushi here! They have really interesting rolls which were fresh and super delicious! The service was good, but a tad slow. They also never brought out my friend’s miso soup. But it was ok, we ordered 4 rolls to share and that was more than enough food. Everything was super tasty I’d go back again.

We ordered appetizers and entrées. The food was fresh and it looked amazing.
We enjoyed it and will have it again.
Did I mention we had it delivered.
The delivery guy was friendly and courteous.

Not the biggest selection of rolled sushi, but the price is ridiculously cheap for the rolls and they taste so good! A California roll for under $ 4? Crazy! Prices and selection on their website so you know exactly what to expect when you get there.

honestly, there are not many hibachi options in Mahwah, but this is an excellent place.
First of all, the food was AMAZING. My family rarely goes to hibachi, but this place was so excellent, they want to come back! First of all, for appetizers, we had edamame (beans) that were excellently prepared. I heard the sushi is also well crafted, because most of the workers have worked in Japan, so it must be pretty good. Then, for hibachi, I ordered steak + shrimp. It was amazing! The hibachi meal comes with rice w/​eggs and vegetables, more vegetables, noodles, a little bit of shrimp, and your choice of meat, chicken, etc. we also had miso soup and salad as an app, (it came with the hibachi meal) which was very good! The rice was excellent, the noodles were amazing, the vegetables were decent, shrimp was fantastic, and my steak was perfectly cooked. I could not have asked for a better hibachi meal!
The atmosphere was pretty neat. It was very modern and a bit done up, but was still casual, which is just the way I like it.
The service was pretty good. Everyone was nice, and the chefs were funny.
All in all, I am DEFINITELY coming back to Sakura! I love it!

The food from here is so good! I stopped in to try one of their advertised specials and was very impressed. The meal was delicious, came fast, and lunch cost me only about $ 10.00. Will be back :)

Never had a bad dish and the staff is very friendly. We have 2 young kids and go often for a family night out dinner. The sushi is fresh and large variety of rolls to choose from. The hibachi dishes are also very good. Restaurant is clean and well kept.

Has sushi delivered to Thiells. Sushi was fresh, and was delicious. Would order here again!

Saturday night was the 2^nd time we ate there, and I will not rush to return. There are many better Sushi places in Rockland. I ordered from the kitchen Hibachi menu, and I needed to ask the waitress if it was micro-​waved as that is how it tasted. The steak and shrimp were warm at best while the noodles were steaming hot. I was told they use a wok in the back to cook the Hibachi orders. My son ordered a hand roll and they brought a regular roll and did not offer to exchange it for what he ordered. My wife had a two rolls that were good but nothing to write home about.
Because our check was over a certain amount ($ 45.00??) we got a free dessert. We ordered the tempura banana. It took about 20 minutes or more to get to our table, and we were joking that they needed to run over to Shop-​Rite to get the banana. That was more time than it took to get our dinner. It was very good however. Our server was a young high school girl who must have been new as she did not know anything about the menu, nor the specials.

I love this place! It’s a shock that it’s never packed. The sushi is so fresh and very very tasty! The service is pretty good and the prices are really great for the quality of food that’s being served. The take out lunch special is amazing. The pan fried dumplings are delicious and the bento box is a really good portion for 8 bucks. I am a frequent at this place and will always be.

There is one other delicious Sushi place in Stony Point but I prefer this one. Their dine-​in service is impeccable and as a family of four, they are very kid-​friendly! Their lunch specials are an amazing deal. I’m only concerned because they were not busy when I ate here during lunch. They have one of the best online menus! It’s very intuitive. I have tried their delivery service and their ETA are fairly accurate. Food was fresh, delicious, and they remembered the extra wasabi and soy sauce. Please don’t ever close! At a measly $ 20 delivery minimum I would love to try more of their fare.

Called every place in the phone book to see who would deliver sushi. No luck until Sakura. Wasn’t expecting much. OMG, GREAT GREAT sushi and sashami. I have since eaten there and it’s lovely. Can’t go wrong here!!! DELIVERY also!

Fresh, delicious, friendly — and always empty! I really want this place to stay in business so go! I usually get the sushi a la carte and it’s all good. They let you order one piece of something, not requiring you order two like so many places. The «white tuna» is new to me, and fabulous, recommended by the waitress there. Give it a try.
