Attorney Poitras was recommended to me by a friend, who’d known him from years ago as a client — attorney relationship. I read the other review herein, and felt it was an excellent feedback, encouraging me to give Dennis a try, as I needed an attorney to handle my husband’s WILL and eventual months dealing with Probate. From our first meeting, I was impressed. He put my mind at ease by his knowledge, patience, and caring personality. He is, as the other reviewer stated, friendly, low-​key, and has reasonable fees. After my husband’s Estate was settled, I went to Dennis to write a new WILL for myself, and all other aspects to writing a WILL. He did so promptly and efficiently. Now completed, I have peace of mind, thanks to this competent lawyer.

I have used Dennis for years to do wills, closings, trusts, and other legal activities. He does not do criminal law or family law. Dennis is something of the «old country lawyer» type. He is low-​key, friendly, has fees that are much more reasonable than some attorneys, and does not charge you every time to call or e-​mail him with a small question. His work has been good, and as a former and long-​time probate judge, I suspect he knows more about that end of the law than most other attorneys.
