Your ridiculously satisfying froyo and your ridiculously adorable froyo mascot situated in the middle of the joint. If I was 5 years old again, I’d think I was at an amusement park. Friendly staff and plenty stocks of froyo flavors and toppings. They are just as on top of business as would a froyo joint not college campus located. A great alternative if you are not feeling Dairy Barn ice cream but realistically… how often does that happen?!

Craving some sour tasting yogurt this afternoon and I stopped in here hoping to quench my cravings with their original tart frozen yogurt. They have about 12 flavors on tap with abundant amount of toppings. Unfortunately, after a few swirls of original tart, the machine seemed to have run out already. I notified the staff and he apologized by saying the previous shift worker probably forgot to refill the machine. He gave me a coupon as an apology which I thought was nice of him. I later on tried their pink lemonade sorbet which is sour enough, but certainly not as good and satisfying as original tart. I really appreciate how clean they’ve maintained their shop though!

Yogurts always on tap, toppings always stocked. After eating next door at Dog Lane, what better way to cap off a meal than with some froyo?! Eat inside or out.

A standard DIY frozen yogurt shop located in the new Storrs center. I can’t say there is anything different to set this one apart from the Sweet Frogs, Peachwaves, out there, but there also isn’t anything bad about it. Clean place with lots of seating and bright decals. If you are in the area and looking for ice cream and the Dairy Bar is closed(sadly this is what happened to us), then head on over for a DIY sweet treat.

Froyo world is probably one of the top notch places to get some frozen yogurt. The store opened up in the new Storrs center complex and has attracted both college students and Mansfield locals. The countless toppings, funky flavors, and more importantly great deals has caught everyone’s attention! Like this week they’re giving 20% off all orders. The flavors change weekly(I think) and range from original tart to birthday cake, to mango. And the toppings, well, you name it they probably have it… Seating at the place is pretty good, enough chairs to fit a small party of 6 and for those who want some sun, there are some tables and chairs outside. I personally love this place, it fits my criteria of a perfect froyo shop!

With Connecticut finally experiencing the froyo goodness. This is as good as it gets. I was a little skeptical with Froyoworld and their frozen yogurt. I normally associate chain stores with lower quality. I tried their original and raspberry and it was surprisingly creamy. Normally other stores are pretty icey. I tried their cake batter and Reese’s peanut butter flavors and they are good. And they have a diverse array of flavors. This place is self serve and they have a tons of toppings to choose from like fruit, mochi, candy pieces, and more. I now know as a out-of-towner that if I want some good froyo, I’ll go to Froyoworld.

I love this place! The froyo is delicious, all the fruit is fresh, and above all else it’s CHEAP. I get a huge serving for right around 5 bucks. My only complaint is the music can get irritating sometimes when the employee on is an EDM fan… ew.

I still like this place, but find that I can’t come too often. There’s only so much froyo I can take in one sitting. I’ve tried a ton of their flavors at this point(I love that they rotate so as not to get boring), and not all flavors are created equal. The original and strawberry are very good, maybe not quite as great as Pinkberry, but perfectly reliable. The more creative flavors are hit or miss. I loved the taro milk tea, which was subtle and coconutty, but wasn’t a fan of the aftertaste of the peanut butter cup and peppermint mocha flavors. Somehow, peanut butter and yogurt tang don’t really go together. Some of the flavors are nauseatingly sweet after a while(cake batter) or taste artificial(red velvet cake, blueberry cheesecake). While not perfect, it’s a great place to go after dinner in the area with friends and satisfy your sweet tooth.

Personally, I’m a big fan of places like this, where you choose your own flavors and toppings, and throw on as much of whatever you want(not like the lame-o’s at Pinkberry). When it’s warm out, this place is definitely making $$$ with all the students around. I hope it survives the much less busy summertimes up here in Storrs!

for 49 cents an ounce, it definitely wasn’t as bad as I expected. My Cup came out to around 5.50 and i was simply amazed at all the topping and how clean everything was. Even during busy rushes its always clean. I also am addicted to the Original Tart and Strawberry Tart… amazing!
