The atmosphere is nice at Wooster St. Pizza. The pizza is really good here. I have had their sandwiches and salads which are excellent for a bar-food type of food. I have also had their wings, which are pretty good as well. However, this one in mansfield does not live up to the Wooster St in Manchester. The only thing I had a problem with is the service. I went there in the middle of the day with two of my friends and we were the only ones there. There was one lady working as a waitress and it took her FOREVER to get us our drinks and our food. My friend ended up being late to work because the service was incredibly slow. I’m not sure if their service is better towards the night time but do not come during the day if you have plans after. because you will be late. Other than that, everything was great-food, restaurant, music.

Pizza is still decent but a 2 hour delivery time is unacceptable. Had to feed my son something else while we waited. Will not order again.

This WAS the best pizza around, but now that they have new owners, it’s just AWFUL. Salads are different, Pizza is different, will not eat here.

Ordered boneless wings and only received 4 of them. Generally there are at least 10 sometimes 12wings. Also the wings used to be quite spicy but no spice to them at all now and no celery with them any more either. We felt quite ripped off on this order. These were small wings too. Also ordered a «specialty» fungi pizza at a premium price. Was nothing more than a scantily topped mushroom pizza without the sauce. This used to be our«go-to» pizza, but not after this experience.

My pizza was completely crushed. The cheese was all on the roof of the box. And the dough was hard and the chewing never ended. And I ordered no hots and of course they put hots. It was just the worse delivery ever.

This place has never had very good pizza but it used to be BYOB which made it well worth it. Not anymore. I haven’t been back since and don’t intend to. Get a good pizza at Camille’s or a better one than this in the area at Sgt Peps

I’d say the best pizza in Storrs/Mansfield, but that is not saying much. For a college town there is only basic pizza-house pizzas around here.

Came in to eat here on a Friday night and left pretty frustrated. Wait staff — you’ll impress me more by getting the order CORRECT than with your attempt to take it without writing anything down! What we ordered: a Caesar salad with chicken, small BLT pizza, and a kids meal with pizza and fruit. What we were brought: a Caesar salad(no chicken), a BLT sandwich, and deep fried mac and cheese bites with french fries. The salad came back correct after 10 minutes, the kids meal after another 15, and we didn’t bother sending the sandwich back because by this time we had been in the place for an hour with a hungry 4 year old. Next time we’ll go to Husky Pizza instead.

The best pizza and chicken wings around UConn. Very nice customer service. Strongly recommended.

I am Italian. Grew up in the 50s-60s in the shadow of the GWB on the Jersey side in a little Italian Neighborhood. When I came to New England for college in ’64 the first thing I noticed was the lack of «real pizza.» So, consider my remarks in that light. Wooster St. pizza is better than the omnipresent Greek Pizza in CT. Why it is even called pizza escapes me. But, I digress. The pizza here was decent, and thankfully they don’t cut it in squares, but it pales in comparison to New Haven, Providence and Boston pizza. It certainly doesn’t measure up to NY pizza. In our one visit the service was slow thanks to our waitress who also had to do duty as the cashier for the restaurant. If you’ve never had Italian pizza you will like it. Maybe even a lot.

I was excited to hear that there was a Randy’s in Storrs. I had hopes that it would be as great as the original in Manchester but it was not even close. The place kept up the hot wheels collection décor like the one in Manchester which I thought was cool but the place felt cold, dark, and dirty. There isn’t much seating either. As for the noise level, the TV is quietly on as well as the quiet chatter of the folks eating around us. Staff was friendly and courteous. I ordered the… GOODY’S GOURMET– white pie, their Dallas chicken tenders, roasted peppers, jack & cheddar cheeses. Topped w/blue cheese. This pizza was spicy and I found the jack cheese to be overwhelming. Not for me. The blue cheese came on the side so you could put it on yourself. SKIPPY’S DARE. The first time I ever tried Randy’s was at the Big-E and I had their infamous Skippy’s Dare– white pie w/provolone, peanut butter & bacon! I had to see if the Storrs Randy’s also lived up to the DARE. I tried it my next visit and it was not good. Barely any peanut butter. My crust was rock solid and had a disgusting char. So little cheese that I forgot there was supposed to be cheese in it. At least the bacon action was plenty and tasted okay. This Spud’s For You– white pie, smashed potatoes, ham, garlic, cheddar & jack cheeses. I ordered take out and they took about half an hour to make a small 12 inch. I actually enjoyed this pizza. Potatoes were soft, cheddar action was great. It was good overall. Other recommendations: The B.L.T.- white pie w/American cheese, sliced tomatoes, mozz, bacon. Topped w/chilled lettuce, mayo, pepper. My friend ordered this every time because it was incredible. I agreed. However, one day they will have enough mayo and other days they won’t have enough mayo on the B.L.T., so reliability is missing from this Randy’s.

They now deliver to parts of Willimantic. Took an hour for delivery. The pizza must’ve slid in the car as most of it was crushed. Everything was cold. I tried calling but they were closed & no one answered. Won’t do delivery again

Went here with some friends for the all you can eat pizza and wings special. The pizza was okay, not the best. The wings were pretty good, although they only offer the traditional buffalo as part of the deal. The atmosphere in the place is pretty lackluster and the service was awful and very, very slow.

Best pizza around UConn! Also my favorite bone in wings. If you want to procrastinate studying, head there for a game and all you can eat wings and pizza on Sunday-Wednesday nights.

Got delivery on a Saturday night during the summer. All we ordered was a cheese pizza and an order of wings. It took two hours and twenty minutes to deliver and we live around 10 minutes from the restaurant. After calling numerous times and receiving numerous assurances that it was«out of the system» and«on it’s way» we received our pizza and in good faith paid the delivery man his tip. I would not suggest getting delivery from this pizza place to anyone. We felt rather deceived and truly believe that it was a goof that they wouldn’t own up to. You’ve been warned. It cannot get any better during the school session.

Way overpriced. Skimpy on the toppings. Employees swearing behind the counter. Wouldn’t go back or suggest it to anyone.

Best pizza on campus. Actually has an air of quality italian pizza, with fresh ingredients and thin crust. This place blows Husky Pizza or Sgt. Pepps out of the water. As far as apps, I’ve tried the bonesless wings and that’s it. They are quite good, although a bit heavy on the batter the flavor was perfect. The portion is quite large, though, and could be split as a snack for 2 or a reasonable amount of food for 1 if your hungry but not a huge eater.

Pizza was suprisingly New Havelicious– lightly charred, zesty sauce, bubbly cheese at lava-esque temperatures. Fairly priced, ambience was basic although not unappealing. If in Storrs at a meal time again, I wouldnt balk at eating here again. They appeared to have all-you-can-eat wings and pizza on Sundays, which, paired with BYOB(with provided table side ice bins) would have been the potential clincher as «Greatest place ever» if I were at student at UConn.

I used to work here as a waitress, but I won’t let that color my review.(Although the loads of free pizza after a shift made it one of the best jobs I had in college…) Try Skippy’s Dare(PB and bacon), it’s an adventure and experience in itself. One time is enough for me, thanks. BUT, I’ve had quite a few mashed potato pizzas in my life, and I really think Spuds for You(mashed potato pizza) is one of the best I’ve still ever had. It’s one of my favorite pizzas also to try to replicate, and is pretty easy to make actually. This happened many times in college, with crusts too thick and layers of potatoes which made you think you were eating an obscenely large baked potato instead. All you can eat pizza and wings night is a little ridiculous, but people actually do it. And that stuffed pizza challenge($ 30 or something) is even more ridiculous, but people actually do that too. Slightly exciting to watch them but mostly depressing in my opinion. No one should ever eat so much stuffed pizza in one sitting, ever. A lot of other apps are good: killer dillers, wicked sticks, fried ravs, boneless wings(remember, it’s all fried. don’t even think about coming here if you are on a diet. the thought alone will probably cost you 1000 calories).

I went back and forth on giving this 4 stars over 3 stars, but ended up with 4 stars. Overall, the place is pricey but the pizza is so freaking fantastic, that I keep going back. I used to frequent the Manchester shop but when we moved to the NE corner, I was totally excited to see that they opened a shop on the UCONN Campus. They had a groupon deal recently, so that was a bonus as well. We went for lunch today and got the wicked sticks to start(do not order the baked version, definitely order original), these are wicked for sure… pretty much fried dough covered in herbs, butter and parmesan cheese. I got a small Scamozza Joe(red sauce, thin sliced mozzarella cheese, fresh basil and oregano) pie and the fiancé got a small bacon & pepperoni pie. With two drinks, the bill was $ 40, so yep… a little pricey. The shop itself is very small, I’m sure it’s because they do most of their business via delivery when school is in session. It is covered in Matchbox/Hot Wheels memorabilia like all their other shops. They have several lunch specials between 11am and 4pm Monday to Friday as well, which is great. This is definitely the best pizza in the area, and for that… I will continue to go back and pay their pricey amounts.
