We happened across this small bait and boat rental operation while traveling through the Madison area and what a find it was. Dottie Brown has been running the bait shop for over 60 years and her and trusty right hand man’s knowledge of Lake Kegonsa is unrivaled. They rented us a boat and helped us get everything we need to have a successful day of fishing on Lake Kegonsa. And what a day we had! This was one of the best excursions we have taken in a long time and we highly reccomend Brown’s Bait and Boat Rental to anyone looking to enjoy an affordable day of fishing on beautiful Lake Kegonsa in Stoughton, Wisconsin. Tell you friends, just not too many, PLEASE!
