This review is specific to the NES cafeteria. The food, selections, and atmosphere were excellent. The prices were also good. Lucky people who get to eat there!

Mom was sent here after having an amputation of one leg and a blood disorder treated at St. Lukes in New Bedford. She was in for about 1 month and I went every day to visit. This facility is purely a rehab place, not for long term care so the focus is get them better and home. I was very impressed with the phys therapy — 2 gyms with all kinds of equip, even a replica kitchen, bath, car, store, restaurant etc… to simulate everyday life. She had pt twice a day at least and the therapists were excellent. Nursing staff was very good as well. Despite not being staffed as well as a St. Lukes(a regular hospital), the care and attention were better in my opinion. The staff from mds, rns even cleaning staff go out of their way to greet you and smile whenever they pass. She had a private, swanky new room at St. Lukes in the new wing and Sinai is an older facility and no private rooms. At first, I was a little disapointed in the setting but that went away quickly. Even the food was better. No one likes going to one of these places but if you must, I’d recommend this one if your nearby. Its part of Tufts and most of the mds are from Boston hospitals.
