We stayed at this Inn on Friday March 20, 2015 and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The woman at the front desk was more than welcoming. It was the beginning of a very busy weekend with concerts, play and sporting events and the hotel was almost sold out. She let us know that they were several families with pre-teens staying there and the Inn had a 9PM curfew for ‘kids being energetic kids’ — so, if noise or disruption occurred after 9PM, to call down immediately and they would take care of it. WOW! That was awesome but turned out to be unnecessary because the Inn was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop! There’s isn’t an elevator but we choose the second floor anyway. When we walked in and up the stairs, the first thing that we noticed was the Cleanliness of the hall carpet. It looked as if it had just been laid. Beautiful. When we opened the door to our room, the cleanliness carried through. The room was spotless… bathroom floor was immaculate; same for the bathtub AND the carpet was free of the dust build up along the wall. Whoever manages the Housekeeping staff is doing an exemplary job! We’ve stayed in 5+ star hotels that weren’t this clean. The bed was super comfy with a perfect quilt and more than enough pillows(although we bring our own). WiFi connected quickly and was fast. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and would certainly recommend this Inn to anyone visitng the Madison area. The only suggestion we would make concerns the signage. The Inn was a little quirky to find if you come through downtown Stoughton. Perhaps more or better signage would be helpful.
