My friend and I love this place. Cozy, quaint, friendly, unique. Live music and good beers, art and performances, Saturday morning coffee and muffins… Such a gem! We found this place a few months back and continue to come when we can. The owners are genuine and kind, great people.

Deserves an update because I have been back many, many times and have nothing bad to say. Have had the food, obsessed with the wings and their flatbread. My husband and I can split that and be full for under $ 20. Staff is lively and lovely, men and women. Owner is awesome and just wants everyone to enjoy themselves. I love the low key friendly, atmosphere. We need more places like this in Stoughton but I love supporting the one we have :).

Coffee is delicious if you don’t know what you want the girls will gladly find something for you. Good place for coffee and a great place to wind down at the end of the night.

LOVE this little place! It is such a comfortable cozy spot and I love their rotating draft selection and the fact that they have live music! My only complaint is that they never seem to be open when I want to go there. Not open on Mondays and they seem close early or mid day for most of the week. The House of Brews is definitely worth checking out if your in the area!

If you are looking for one of the best run coffee/bar establishments in Massachusetts, look no further than Stoughton House of Brews. Whether you are there for the perfectly brewed coffee, the hand crafted drinks, or the impressive craft beer selection, you can do no wrong at the HOB. Hungry? Take a look at the well paired food menu that explodes with flavor and is cooked to perfection. The ambiance of the location is something to soak in as you first step in and look around. Lastly, because you always save the best for last, is the staff. Owners Leo and Sam, are professional, friendly, and welcoming to all of the patrons that enter their establishment. You’ll never catch them out of sight, rather, they’ll be the first ones to check in on you to ensure that you are having a truly wonderful experience. They have surrounded themselves with some of the best staff members around and have paid attention to every detail. If you are in or around the Stoughton area, come experience a remarkable place that will quickly become your go-to spot!

my first and only time I’ve been to this establishment was to see a phenomenal musician named Fil Pacino play. I sat at the bar and had their margarita pizza and a Manhattan on the rocks. The atmosphere was nice, warm and welcoming. I enjoyed speaking with the bartenders, cooks as well as the clientele. Knocking two stars off and not returning because I found out Fil won’t be performing there any longer. Good luck to the SHOB.

My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place! The owner, Leo… Is wonderful! Along w the rest of the staff. The entertainment is always great, and we’ve never had a bad meal. If craft beer if your thing, then this is definitely the place for you. Nothing beats the atmosphere! I can’t think of another local bar quite like it. If you’re looking for a warm inviting place that you can call home… Consider this place it! Cheers!

Right next to the train station! We love getting coffee and breakfast in the morning before getting on the train. Coffee is great. The breakfast sandwich is just okay but they make it fast, which we need in the morning trying to catch the train. Coming home, we like getting a drink after work. Beer selection is always changing and always good. Many beers are local. They also have fun cocktails(espresso martini) and a nice wine selection. Although portions are reasonable, we often like to split entrees. Veggie quesadillas and the sliders are two of our favorites. And the flatbread! Actually, we have enjoyed everything they have. Croustinis are good too. They also have good live music. We like to sit further away so we can talk. But musicians are always good.

Love this place. Decent drink selection, and the food menu is great! Very inexpensive, but very tasty! The service is fabulous. Leo the owner always comes around to say hi, and works behind the bar when needed. The bartender Justin is great. He is knowledgeable about the beer, and great just to have a conversation. We will be back soon!

What a hidden gem! This place is tucked away down a side street in the center of Stoughton. My girlfriend and I had plans to go elsewhere, but after driving by, we had to check it out. SO glad we did! Super cozy atmosphere with couches and a good sized bar. The food was incredible(they only serve appetizers). Our bartender was very knowledgeable of all the beers, and incredibly friendly(always a bonus!). There was amazing live music, and mostly locals that were quick to strike up a conversation. Cannot wait to go back!

This is such an amazing place! The atmosphere is so cozy– couches on one side, bar on the other, lights, and live music. I ordered the reeses peanut butter cup martini– it was a little strong and the flavors didn’t really work well together so I wouldn’t get it again BUT I’m looking forward to trying the other specialty cocktails on the menu. For food we had the sweet potato fries, stuffed mushrooms, and sliders. The spf’s were no joke the best i’ve ever had in my life. Crispy and delicious! The stuffed mushrooms come in a little pot(very cute) with five mushrooms. While it wasn’t a generous portion it was just enough for an appetizer cocktail night. The sliders were delicious. I am so excited to have found this place!

I go here usually every Thursday for lattes and they are really some of the best around. I have also gone here for drinks and entertainment at night which is pretty good. They also rotate the craft beers each month on tap for something different. The brew house is one of the better places in Stoughton for night life.

I’m giving this. 3.5 rating. Atmosphere gets 5 stars but service gets 2. Atmosphere– super cozy. They have fun posters and tshirts hung all around. Theres a fireplace and it’s small and quaint. There was a very nice acoustic group singing in the background which wasn’t so loud that it was hard to hear! Service– the staff is very nice however on this particular day they were extremely busy and couldn’t keep up. It was 1.5 hours before we were served for basic breakfast items. That being said, when we inquired about the status if our food, it was rushed out and we were given a 10% discount without having to ask. I would recommend this place and will be coming back soon. I’m hoping the long wait was a fluke!

Grew up in Stoughton, but now live in the North Shore. I wish I had a place like this in my town. They don’t have a huge menu, but for what they lack there they have in beer selection. It’s great to see more and more places like this, open up with great craft beer. I’ve seen some people complain about the pricing, but that’s a typical price to pay for that kind of beer. Come here if you’re looking for a great spot to meet some friends, have some good beer and hang out.
