Adell Durbin Park

Although this park has an awesome hand carved Indian totem and a clean, relaxing creek running through the woods; it’s far from being my favorite park. I’m not saying don’t check it out because it does have some nice features such as: a playground, tennis courts, hiking trails, Campbell’s Lodge and it’s usually kept pretty clean.
However, I couldn’t give this place a 5 star review because they are not pet friendly. Also, I realize that (sadly) someone was in a head-​on collision this winter and crashed into the beautiful pine trees that used to offer privacy next to the tennis courts. At the most, two trees were damaged but they decided to cut down all of them and it just looks like sh*t now.
As for Campbell’s Lodge, it’s okay… for Stow residents it’s only $ 75.00 to rent so you can’t beat that! And I’ll admit, the pics on their site make the interior of the building look like American cheese exploded on every wall (it’s not that bad in person, trust me). But if you’re looking for a more higher-​end facility then this probably wouldn’t meet your standards.
Otherwise, it’s a cute little place in an over crowded city… great for a date or just to clear your mind. :)
