Not to hate on the Unilocal community, but you’re crazy if you give this a 1 star. This is a great course with a friendly staff. I’m playing on US Open week (2014 pinehurst #2) and it kind of reminded me of that. It has those shady bunkers and some holes have a bunch of pine trees on them… Now there’s wide fairways and a grassy ruff to hit from, but I guess it just feels that way.
I think this is a great course, it has a grassy driving range, and two putting surfaces. It also has a sand trap bunker to practice from. It’s very convenient and I really enjoy it. I don’t know if it’s 5 star rating material, but it’s not 1 and I wanted to bring the average up because it deserves it. Have fun!

Way too crowded! (On a Wednesday?!?) 3 groups on every hole — hit & wait, hit & wait… 5.5 hrs for 18 holes is entirely too long. Course was in decent shape, but not up to par with some other local courses (that are cheaper to play). Pro shop staff are rude, snack bar took 20 min at turn, starters are the rudest I’ve ever encountered. Not sure where all the attitudes come from, but I know I’ll never go back!
