Shrimp scampi over spaghetti was very tasty and the service was quick and welcoming. Kudos to Petra the server! If I’m in the area again, I’ll stop by to see Petra again.

Pizza was excellent. Fresh tomatoes, not super heavy on the dough. Service was also excellent. We thought the décor was awesome with one exception. Trucks on the indoor roof. It’s difficult to explain, but check this place out and see for yourself. If I was a local I would come back.

Great food, attentive and friendly service, no wait for food. Particulars: salad was fresh with simple, good dressing(didn’t need hiding under something heavy). Kids portions cheap but great quality, husband’s puttanesca was EXCELLENT.

This has turned into one of my go to spots if I’m getting take out for dinner. Great portion sizes, good food, and some of the best gnocchi in The Valley. Definitely a good spot for dinner or lunch.

If I could post no stars I would. Yes close to the Marriott that was nice. Sunday night and maybe this was not the regular cook. Husband got the spaghetti with meat sauce. I got the bacon carbonnara. The carbonnara was quite sloppy with sauce until it cooled down. The bacon was good but very small. The sauce was bland. I asked for some garlic powder to jazz it up but I wound up eating only half. My husband said his sauce was a 4 on a 10 point scale. He also tried the garlic and parmeseam cheese but he only ate half. He took his home to feed our wildlife. The bread was very strange almost like a biscuit dough in a loaf shape. That was not seasoned either and the garlic, cheese(we asked for extra butter), butter did not help. Service was good. Food was terrible even though the portions were huge. Would not recommend.

We’ve been here once or twice and been satisfied by the fare. I highly recommend the antipasto salad. My husband has had the hot sandwiches a few times, and the pizza as well and has had no complaints. Went recently on a Sunday for dinner and the place was a ghost town. I suspect thy do a majority of their business during the week from the hotel guests next door. Cute patio, always busy on weeknights. Give it a try!

Service was good and a good selection of Italian meals. Ziti and vodka sauce was excellent. The Italian. Stromboli was just as good.

Good pizza — especially the Napoli — the personal size is big enough for 2. Beer selection is very small though and they don’t have a full bar. Very convenient if you are staying at the Marriott, just walk across the parking lot.

This was one of the worst restaurants I have ever had the displeasure of «dining.» We ordered sweet tea and when we tasted it it tasted like instant. We asked the server and she said, «No, it was made fresh this morning.» It was after 7PM when we were here. The salad came and was pre-made from a bag and had bad tasting olives added. The spaghetti and fettucini were awful. I asked if it was made fresh. The server said everything is pre-made then put back in water and therefore was fresh. The bread is made then frozen. She said all Castiglias do that, which we informed they do not. We have one near us and everything is fresh made. The kitchen is in plain sight of seating. It takes longer but is 100x better. The sauce is runny and has a bad taste. The server was over-attentive but very informative.

I decided to make my first Unilocal review because the quality of the food was unsatisfactory. We tried the wings, veal parm, and meatball sub. Clearly, this food is consistent with poor quality restaurant supply-type food. This is frozen food that is heated or prepared for serving. While served hot, the sauce was poor tasting, the veal is a poor quality frozen patty, and I can’t imagine anything we tried was from fresh ingredients. By the way, I just read a previous review that mentions salad that seems from a bag, and when we looked at our salad, that is exactly what came to mind. We prefer to give our business to local restaurants instead of national chain restaurants wherever we travel, but this was not a good experience, and I can’t recommend anyone dine there. For a bit of balance, the service was attentive and the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing. We sat outside, and it was a nice evening.

I will give it 2 stars for being close to the hotel. But some of the food tasted like it came from a microwave. I wish I would have found Cristina’s Café first.

Was pleasantly surprised but I would advise ordering cautiously. We are fr NYC and know food. Had salad and a Marguerite pizza. Turned out to be excellent. Fresh tomato, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil and a nice crust. Keep it simple. Sit on the patio if you can.

Good Italian pasta dishes. Decent customer service and well kept dining area. Only thing is their menu is large and offers a lot of items which isn’t always beneficial to the quality of the food. Overall, good prices and food.

Stayed at the Marriott next door so was a convenient walk to this restaurant. It was very busy and the bussing staff was a bit behind in clearing tables. We only had to wait a few minutes before a table was cleared for us. The wait staff was courteous. I ordered one of their ziti dinners, my wife got the chicken parm and my son ordered one of the Stromboli dinners. The salads that were served were pretty much bag salads with some olives and onions added but not horrible. We were all very please with our meals. They were very large portions and tasted great. This was just a stopping point going home from our sons college graduation, but I would recommend this place to anyone passing by. Very good, great portions and fairly decently priced for the amount of food they give you.

Thoroughly enjoyable penne pasta with grilled chicken And eggplant in a marinara sauce. Great service and was able to walk across the lot to my room at the Fairfield Inn. Nice restaurant with weekly specials but a limited wine list. Good service and if driving can park almost at the front door

I ate here about a month ago, and just came across the receipt while cleaning out my wallet and thought I’d write a review. We stopped here on our way from DC to Snowshoe, WV for a long weekend back in January. My friend who was driving had intended to stop at the travel plaza a few exits closer to DC, but missed the exit and so we came here, the next exit we saw with food. I had an eggplant parm sandwich. It was quite large. I’d put the flavor on par with your typical«neighborhood» Italian restaurant– nothing amazing, but definitely decent food. Overall, in terms of food I otherwise would have gotten on the road(usually french fries, Subway, or Taco Bell) it was a good alternative. We got takeout from the counter when you first walk in. It was a bit cramped with the four of us waiting there for our food and drinks while diners were traveling in and out of the restaurant, but it is what it is. I ordered a root beer, and for some reason the guy behind the counter felt the need to open the bottle for me– I had been intending to keep it sealed for a bit before I drank it. That was a little weird.
