I was driving the back roads home from our family campground when I came upon a little dive on the side of the road with semi trucks parked in the lot. I figured, if it’s good enough for truckers, it’s good enough for me. Plus, my parents were with me and they told me that my uncle enjoys eating here. So in we went. It’s fairly small establishment. There was an elderly man sitting alone drinking coffee(classic), and there was an elderly couple placing their orders. That was about it. At first, there were only two people working, a cook and a waitress, but a third mysteriously showed up later. I ordered the tilapia dinner, my mom ordered the BLT and my dad ordered the chicken special. All meals were tasty and cooked right. My sides included corn and scalloped potatoes. All the food was home made and was really pleasing, since I was in search of a good old diner meal on the way home. Not sure where the truckers were who’s trucks were outside, but whatever. Just as we were finishing our meals, the third mystery worker showed up with a birthday cake. It was our waitress Brenda’s birthday. So with everyone in unison, we sang Happy Birthday to her. Then we hit the John and finally, the road. Recommend this place if you’re ever lost in Ohio.
