Two moves, both terrific
This company has moved me twice in January and February of 2016. Two different crews for each move. Customer service outstanding. The company is clearly committed to gaining good will and trust and goes the extra mile to make sure all goes well. Estimates of moving costs were pretty close to what it actually cost. Both crews of movers were competent, courteous, and couldn’t have extended themselves more. We would definitely use this company again.

I was given a time of between 8−9am for their arrival, They showed up shortly before 9, immediately went to work after giving them a breakdown of what was being moved. The 3 guys were friendly and fast. After all was said and done the move was about 2 hours total from packing up to unloading. (I moved 15 mins away). They asked where we wanted items unloaded and put them exactly where my wife asked. Great experience.

After reading the online reviews on Unilocal and dealing with the office staff, I was excited that I picked the right movers. The team that was sent to my house was very polite and nice but efficiency was not high on their list. For the entire team of three to all take a load down to the truck as well as up from the truck at the destination was a very bad use of manpower and time. I even kept offering to help. I told the team leader that he should have his guys just unload from the truck and pile it by the elevator and I will help with getting it up and off the elevator then we all can move the stuff to the apartment. Instead, I got to pay — by the hour — for an extra 2.5 hours for a total of 5.5 hours to move a one bedroom apartment a totally of a few miles. I even moved all of the boxes, clothing and dishes the day before thinking it would help cut down on time. If you’re looking for a very nice company to deal with but not concerned about time/​cost, All My Sons Moving is a great choice.

These guys were amazing. My crew showed up right on time and never stopped hustling. They made sure everything was well protected and packed well. They never complained, even when they had to get a rather large couch down some terrible stairs. Their speed and professionalism made this the best move we’ve ever had to do. I will be using them for my next move!

I used them in November 2013 and they did a great job. I have since referred people to them and I called them again to schedule an upcoming move. I spoke with Michelle on Friday morning. She assured me someone would call me that evening or the next morning. 3 days later still no call so I called them back. I was asking for the same move price that they gave me when they moved me first which being a repeat customer and referring others I thought was reasonable.
When I spoke to the owner Doug he would not honor that rate. He kept talking over me and wouldn’t even let me speak. His customer service skills are lacking in which he should leave to his reps. He wouldn’t waive a fuel surcharge that they waived previously, 11% is ridiculously high and another way for them to gain income. He said they move 4,000 people and clearly he doesn’t care about repeat business or recommendations. For moving that many people and only having a handful of reviews I thought that others should know of my experience. I spent $ 120 tipping the guys last time and also another $ 30 buying them breakfast and lunch. When I explained that it would be taking away from their tip he did not care saying that he treats his employees good and didn’t recommend tips.
After speaking with him I remember speaking with him during my last move and he was exactly the same. When I agreed to the price he pushed on me he said someone would call 24 – 48 hours prior to the move and I can make the decision then. When I asked if they would really call me because I was already promised a call he said forget it and didn’t want my business.
Go with someone who values their customers, repeat business and most of all the best compliment of referrals.

I want to truly complement the team — I never write such positive reviews about anything ha, but they team was great start to finish. Form the ease of use online which is so super important these days, communication and detail, ease of move, timeliness and honestly the best guys who came! I wish I could have hung out with them all day :-) They moved everything even the items I «forgot» to pack. I would move again just for them!

Unbelievable moving experience with these guys. Joe, Carlos and Cheeks were hard-​working, completely professional and over-​the-​top friendly. The team was careful and caring for all of my mother-in-law’s belongs and made the move in a very timely fashion — no wasted time at all. This was probably the best moving experience I’ve had, by far. This is a «five-​star» company, please notice their only negative post was not from someone who used this company for a move. Based on my personal experience, you can be 100% comfortable booking this company for your move.

Excellent moving experience with All My Sons Moving company. The pre-​move communication was fast and comprehensive, both via phone and email, which made me feel comfortable with the process. The movers were fast, trustworthy and caring. The whole experience could not have been any better and economical as well. I highly recommend them.

I recently moved, and being worried about being able to get my couch in my new apartment I hired All My Sons Moving. The guys were very nice, polite and careful with my stuff. The worked fast and when it came to getting my couch into my new apartment (double recliner to the 2^nd floor) they accomplished it after some time and didn’t give up. I was more than happy with them, and they helped make my move alot less stressful! I would recommend!

Driving in Norwalk in heavy snow and All My Sons truck (CT plates # K 59 762) not only CUTS me off and makes me skid into oncoming traffic but then the driver ran a red light at the next corner. Irresponsible and dangerous, especially in this kind of weather.
