DONOTDOBUSINESSWITHTHISGUY– he will still your money and disappear. I ordered high end cabinets from Joe Martin on May 3rd. The total cost was $ 8500. It was high but I didn’t question it because dealing with Joe had been a pleasure. Upon placing the order he asked for $ 5100 up front, I paid him no questions asked. Once I made that payment I asked joe several times to email the final order. I wanted to see it on paper and just have the cabinet sizes and quantity on hand for my contractor. He never followed through. On June 10th Joe called for final payment. I asked if they were done ‘yup on their way’ he says. June 30th comes around, I call, Joe says they will be here tomorrow. Over the next few days my contractors checked in for the cabinets, no cabinets. July 3rd– I call Joe and leave a voicemail– I let him know that I have houses guests coming on July 21st and August 1st so we need the cabinets so we can finish the house. I don’t hear back from him. On July 7th I call again, no return call. That day he tells my contractor that the cabinets were in a tractor trailer on 95 last week and in an accident. We start to get concerned. So we call the dealer. Dealer confirms that my order was placed on May 13th, but they never received payment so they were not even started!!! Keep in mind that JOEMARTIN was paid in full weeks ago. I call joe again, leave a voicemail. Let him know I am fully aware that my cabinets have not been started and that he should do the right thing and return my money. What does JOEMARTIN do? He sends me a text– cancelled order, best way to get your money back is to dispute the charges! Are you kidding me? What happened Joe?! So I warn anyone that does business with him, don’t pay up front, not a dime. His customer service is impeccable from the start, right up until you actually expect to get what you paid for. Good luck with your business in the future Joe, this isn’t over.
