Though we’ve only been here the one time we would definitely come back. The portions are large and the staff was super friendly. They have tons of flavors to choose from.

Cute shop for a quick ice cream. Nice tables with shade out back. Selection is decent. Ice cream is OK, but flavors lack anything special. My biggest gripe was cash only with a $ 3ATM fee… kind of annoying considering no one carries cash anymore.

This place is awesome ! They have great ice cream, I love the peanut butter paradise ! They don’t skimp on the hot fudge sauce like some places. Plus they hire the cutest girls.

I LOVETHEIRSOFTSERVE! now if you are a fan of soft serve ice cream as i am. then this is your one stop shop. they have by far, hands down the best soft serve ice cream. yes hard ice cream is delicious with all the stuff jam packed in it. but sometimes soft serve ice cream is the best and only way to go. I went here on yet another hot day and was having a hankering for ice cream, so I went on an exploration for more places. I stumbled upon this place and heard they have the best soft serve. when I got here this place was boomin’! so many people and children running around. they have a huge out door seating area and a little childrens play area. the front looks incredibly confusing because they have tons of pictures and stuff posted every where about all sorts of goodies you can get there. all their specials and special different ice creams and basically every thing they have. it gets a little over whelming. do stop here if you are a fan of soft serve ice cream.

Although the ice cream is very good, the portion sizes have been dramatically reduced since the Wright Place took over Hodgies. Today I ordered a small cone and it was more of what I would call a kiddie cone. Personally I prefer the ice cream at Lagos or Memories but I go to the Wright Place because it is close to my house. My husband likes prefers the Wright Place not for the ice cream but for the cute girls that scoop the ice cream. I think the price is high for the amount of ice cream you get.

Now called The Wright Place For Ice Cream(lame), Hodgie’s, as everyone still calls it, is an old favorite. Large portions, great selection of flavors, not too expensive. There are picnic tables and a play area for little kids, and its a great place(the right place, if you will) to go on a hot day.
