I wanted lasagna soooooo bad tonight. Found A Slice of Italy on Unilocal and I’m so glad we did! The lasagna was to die for! Also ordered a thin crust sausage pizza and it was also very very very good! Close to home and very reasonable prices! I only wish they were open 7 days a week because I just know that I’m going to have a craving for their pizza and pasta on a day they’re closed! Lol

Dont expect a better pizza than lou malnatis or giordanos etc like people claim.
I had to try after reading the raves about this place.
Its good. But no where near amazing.
Its good pizza with a homemade touch. You definitely get a homemade pizza feel when you bite into it. But what brings this pizza down is the cheap cheese they use on it.
Its a shame the owner absolutely kills this pizza with low quality dominos/​little ceasers like cheese to save 50 cents or a dollar. What really happens is you lose hundreds or thousands of dollars in the long run in potential sales for dissapointing first time triers who like me, will never come back.
Good sauce, good crust. Garbage cheese.
