Big Lots

I love, love this Big Lots location, they have lots of discount selections!

The deals can’t be beat. You need to know what types of things to buy and what not to (similar to dollar stores). Of course, some things are crap and you get what you pay for, BUT there are certain food products and home products like cleaning supplies that you can get dirt cheap and the quality is excellent.

Now, I am not typically a discount store kinda shopper. I just really don’t like to have to dig in bins or search for things. However, now that payroll taxes went up (Happy New Year!), this might change.
To me, Big Lots is really hit or miss. Some you find treasure, others are total dives. This location however is super nice. I guess it just recently opened which is evident among the neatly displayed shelves. Everything has a place and everything is in its place. The store is very open and bright and clean! They have a nice furniture section in the back with some actually really nice furniture pieces.
I came seeking out a memory foam bath mat which they had, but not in the color I wanted. I ended up getting some Christmas treat boxes for next year’s cookies. They rang up full price after a bit of back and forth with the cashier it was taken care of. I think she was a bit bummed to be working the day after Christmas.
Hopefully this location stays neat and tidy!
