Things started out well, on time for estimate. Said pet stains should not be a problem, and that I would not need to replace shoe molding(as others stated). Booked and planned to be out of town and let him know this as I needed to be out of house 4 days. Morning off, come for 50% deposit, the floor guys come(just contracted for certain jobs not employees of FF) tell me pet stains won’t come out likely. They also did not have all colors of stain available, as well as brand promised. Also man who is part of FF asks if they can tape of shoe molding, they say no. I also ask about clean up, they say they clean up. House was covered in dust they also did not want to finish job until I paid 2nd half(and was out of town). No resolution was offered for filth and was told what do I expect. Shoe molding nicked up, stain on walls, stain inside new floor vents. My husband spent 3 hours cleaning the walls top to bottom and had to refill bathtub(yes bathtub) 3x because of filthy water. The screens to windows coated in dust! They also left my A/C on 55 while we were gone(to dry in time???) and it froze up the unit which made the unit leak everywhere. My hubby also found a paper towel in unit that smelled like stain/varnish.(lucky my hubby is handy and fixed this issue). All I got was an I’m sorry. The guys who did the actual work got paid with the 2nd half of the payment, so of course, I could not withhold payment. The FF guy pretty much said the floor guys will handle it and of course, did not care as he had his money. They also did not fix a chip that I had in the floor saying they dd not see it. It is pretty big. Like 2 inche by 1 inch and ½ deep. If you go with them because they are cheaper, beware. Communication so confusing between 2 «companies». Also prepare to spend hours cleaning! A cleaning company stated 150 an hour and wont’ guarantee it’s clean after that. Ugh! If you do remove screens, remove all vents/returns, and tape off molding. I would even put plastic over walls.

These guys look like they do good work, too bad they don’t return calls or emails. They came out for an estimate twice and still forgot the tools to measure properly. Poor attention to detail with customer service means poor attention to detail with work.
