They have about 10 employees working at once, I observed them watching customers very closely which can be annoying. Please watch all you want, but do it from afar. This store is like any other Sephora, nothing special in the store itself but it does get the stars for Jennifer S. who gave me the most seamless return transaction. I originally purchased something at a JCP Sephora, and although they accept returns at an independent Sephora, it’s just more of a hassle, but it didn’t feel like that. She talked to me as if we were old friends catching up, we talked about makeup and how much we both hoard products, and just about everything else two friends would talk about. She made the experience all that much better. And best of all, she didn’t make you didn’t feel like the way other stores do when returning, aka a burden, troubling them, etc etc Anyway, I’d come back here for the great customer service I experienced.

I was in the search for a new face regimen and I decided to check out Sephora. Shocking when I entered the store my friend and I were instantly asked if we needed assistance… which is always a plus in my book now a days! I briefly gave her an idea of what I was in the market for and she suggested the area and asked for an associate to help me.(Another plus in my book). We went over to the area where the boscia line was at and the associate gave me some helpful information about the black mask(highly recommend it FYI) and gave her personal experience which I liked because it felt like she was being honest vs just selling me a product! Which is a plus!(Yes, I am a lover of amazing customer service)(big smile) I ended up getting the boscia face mask and a sample of the cleanser. I highly recommend the Sephora if your in the market for cosmetics and you want an honest opinion vs being sold a product you don’t really need.

Always great products, and in this case great employees that went far and beyond to help me. This store exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it!

I love Sephora, it’s practically my candy store(well, I love sugar too… so maybe it’s just my non-edible candy store). Let’s say I’m looking for a soft pink lipstick, but not too light. And no frosty shades — I’m not going for that 70s look. Oh, but not too dark, and definitely not sheer. But it also needs to be hydrating. Sephora’s got you covered. They carry plenty of brands(more online) of makeup, skin care, body care, and fragrance, and they also cater to men and women. I’ll be perfectly honest — I prefer(only slightly) to shop online. I seem to always want to buy from Sephora when I’m in my pajamas later at night, and unfortunately while I enjoy my nightowl(read: insomniac) life, I can’t seem to find a mall open at 2am. Why do places close so early(how dare they want to go home at 9pm???)? Or I’ll be out of town at a conference or what have you, and think, gosh, I could really use a new eye liner/face mask/perfume/what have you. Sephora online is always open, and full of reviews. People on Sephora’s Facebook wall may whine that shipping takes too long, but I’ve never waited more than a week or so, and have often times received my goods in 4 – 5 days. But this review was not supposed to be about online, as I do occasionally venture outside of my house. If I’m going to go to a Sephora in person, it’s the one in Southpark. Sure, the parking is typically atrocious, but it’s worth it. Even when Sephora is packed, the staff still manage to acknowledge my presence(which is more than I can say for some other Sephoras — I can be in their empty store for 15 minutes and barely get them to say two words even at the check out). It’s pretty easy to get assistance with anything. The last time i was in there, I had one of the employees match me for foundation — and she was meticulous(which is a good thing!) she suggested two different foundations after asking me several questions and listening to my needs, then found the perfect shade. Then she helped me find a lipstain. Even though I was being rather picky, she didn’t seem annoyed and offered good advice. I didn’t feel like she was selling me a more expensive lip product to make a sale, and explained why it would be exactly what I was looking for. Since I tend to purchase the slightly majority of my products online, that means that occasionally something just doesn’t work. Reviews can be great, but sometimes they’re scarce if the product is new or a shade just doesn’t work. Sephora is really pretty good about returns. The last two times I’ve stopped into Sephora at Southpark, I had a return. I always feel bad doing it. I most recently debating returning the product(a perfume) because I hate returning(especially because I worked in retail, and I know it likely hurts their daily sales and the product is also damaged out, so it’s a waste to me!). However, no Sephora around me carried this brand and it just didn’t work for me. Sephora didn’t make me feel guilty, and happily accepted my return(maybe because then I end up buying more stuff?) If for some reason you don’t have a receipt, they can usually look up the purchase if you are a member of their Beauty Insider program(it’s free, so why not sign up?). I will warn you if you get store credit(often if you don’t have a receipt, but I’m sure can happen for other reasons) you can only use that in person, never online. Also, you can get samples! Since I’m in the market for a new perfume anyway and didn’t really want to keep buying and returning ones, I had them make me up a few samples — they are in a nice little spray vial so I can try them out at home and see how they wear during the day. I asked for a fragrance sample at another location and the woman handed me the bottle and told me to spray it on my wrist. I was like, «I already have something else on and want to see how it wears, how it smells on me, and also make sure i don’t get an allergic reaction(unfortunately, somewhat common for me)». She rolled her eyes at me, especially when I dared to utter the word«sample» and said spraying it on my wrist WAS my sample. Oh-kay then. But anyway, if you are a member of Sephora’s frequent shopper program, they email you when there are specials or new products, and you earn points that you can turn in for bonus size samples or little sets of samples(usually they’re a generous travel size). If you spend enough in a year(I think it’s $ 350) they upgrade you to «VIB»(very important… beauty? I don’t remember), and supposedly you get extra perks(which slip my mind). If you want your makeup done, just call ahead to make sure they’re able to fit you in(the weekends there are usually busy). I’ve had my makeup done once, and the girl did a fantastic job, and I didn’t feel like she tried to do any sales pitch. She also mixed in some products that I already had(and mentioned) so I didn’t feel like I needed to buy all new products.

I have shopped here a few times not to pick up anything crazy just some lip gloss and a couple hair products. I stopped in yesterday and I was really looking for a good tinted moisturizer and foundation. Right away a girl came up and asked if I needed help. I told her exactly what I was looking for and what i wanted to use it for. She new right away what would work best for me. I bought this AMAZING tinted moisturizer that you put on your bare face, and It literally makes my skin glow and it has that«dewy» look I AMINLOVE I can not believe I lived 26 years without having this stuff! She also looked at my face(i had no make up on) and matched up my skin color to the PERFECT foundation(sephora brand) and it only cost $ 20 so i picked up 2 of those as well. She actually put the foundation on my face and showed me in the mirror and I couldnt believe it!!! Again… how did I go 26 years without this stuff!!! She wasnt there to try to push me towards the big $$ items, I told her exactly what i wanted, asked my questions and she nailed it all! I also have a sephora card so I received a free sample bottle of DIOR perfume and they always put little goodies in your bag as well. The girls that work there know what they are talking about, they are not pushy they actually put the product on you to show you how it works. LOVELOVELOVE sephora!
