Fret place for an executive retreats, the food is good, the service has been excellent and the staff very accommodating. The views from our cabin of the pond at sunset was break taking, I will need to com back for a weekend with the family.

This is a great location between Tulsa and okc for a retreat or corporate meeting. Staff is friendly and the location is beautiful. The rooms are clean, the food was very good and best of all the price didn’t break the bank. I look forward to booking more meetings here in the future.

My wife and I wanted to take our family to a «dude ranch» for vacation. After searching on line we selected the Tatanka Ranch in Stroud, OK because of their promising website information. If you ever want to go to a dude ranch DONOT even think about this place. Their website portrays this as a beehive of activities. It is not. You can do everything there in one afternoon. They claim their cabins are luxurious. They are anything but luxurious. They are tiny and uncomfortable. There was one uncomfortable bed and a thin mattress on the floor of a loft for four people. There was one straight back chair in the room, so that if you got bored(and you will), there is no place to go unless you want to go to bed. They will bring fresh towels or service your room upon request. It’s not done routinely. They advertise their food as gourmet. Here is what we got for dinner(that we paid for) hamburgers made with preformed frozen patties, cold buns, canned beans and frozen french fries and some type of mushy apple cobbler. Breakfast the next morning was tasteless scrambled eggs, greasy bacon and the worst pan cakes you can imagine. This place is a complete waste of time and money. If you like a place that over promises and totally under delivers, go to the Tatanka Ranch. We left after one day. We drove 500 miles each way to get there and spent a good bit of money. My family had been looking forward to this trip and were they ever disappointed. We feel like we wasted our time and money.
