Eclectic music is great. All coffee choices are superb. The best tuna Mediterranean sandwich I’ve had. And sweets were just right. Our only recommendation is to remodel the interior. So the interior design goes in tune with the great taste.

What a gem! On our way to a resort in Poconos, we found this place on Unilocal. Great sandwiches and salad and amazing coffee. I had the avocado and hummus sandwich which was great. Wife had apple salad and french onion soup and both were great as well. The portion is also extremely generous. I would come visit Stroudsburg just to eat here again !! :-)

Came in for a cup of coffee and ended up also getting a carrot-cake muffin, breakfast scone and we shared a croissant(after realizing how good the baking was). The coffee had a great flavor and the food was perfect. Cannot wait to visit for lunch!

Excellent food, excellent service! Came down to the area for a few days of shopping with friends and based on recommendations from some locals decided to visit Alaska Pete’s. We were not disappointed. Michael our server was very attentative and served our meals timely. Quality of the food was very good. Everything was fresh and served hot. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone especially visiting the area.

I was driving through the area with my all-vegetarian family, looking for a place to eat in the very not-vegetarian-friendly area of ~rural Pennsylvania. Thanks to Unilocal,I came across Café Duet, and we had a great meal! We actually didn’t get any of the famed coffee here, but we did try the two vegetarian sandwiches on the menu that day – the Melted Brie and the Avocado, Cucumber, Sprouts, + Hummus. Both were great! The Melted Brie, in particular, was extremely rich and hearty, with melted brie cheese, walnuts, and craisins drizzled with maple syrup and balsamic vinegar on crusty bread. The Avocado, Cucumber, Sprouts, + Hummus was spiced with chili powder, smoked spanish paprika, and sea salt, which really made it stand out. The vintage interior and lovely backyard of Café Duet made up for the long-ish wait for our sandwiches to be prepared. Overall, this place is really a gem in a vegetarian-scarce area.

Great little spot off the main drag. Loved the music selections all played with vinyl records on a turntable. Still has its own unhomogenized sound quality. Friendly Barista who helped provide some good riding tips for our bike ride. Also makes an excellent cappuccino with skilled art work. Sandwiches were good, but I did think the egg salad was a bit overpowered with the chopped olives. Just my taste of course. The place has a comfortable homey feel that I really enjoyed.

After traveling through five states this week I can easily say this was the best latte of the trip. This guy knows what he’s doing. No flavors, just really good coffee.

Awesome little café. From the outside it looks like it is super small but as we went in the café it kept going. It was spacious and even had a little outside seating. The menu is huge with breakfast and lunch options and delicious coffee. They brew Stumptown from Oregon! So delicious! We enjoyed it

Cute café on an attractive square in a town that’s seen far better days. Nice backyard for enjoying a latte. Friendly if slow service. My $ 11 tuna sandwich, however, contained about $ 2 worth of ingredients, and was both dry and horribly overpriced.

A coffee shop gem! Delicious Stumptown coffee(with latte art!). There’s a variety of places to sit, including a tranquil garden patio. The food is fantastic — try the Mom’s Egg Salad Sandwich and the brownie. The best part — Friendly coffee baristas and cooks! Hobbit house friendly!

Great coffee, wonderful food and an atmosphere that is tough to beat. Latte art is very nice and service is absolutely wonderful. Always buy their coffee beans to bring home too. It’s really the best around.

Stopped in for lunch with the family. Fantastic! Fresh bread, great flavor and variety in the sandwiches. We tried several of the backed goods and liked the moist mandarin tart so much that we bought the last two pieces. They definitely live up to their rep as the best coffee in the area. Loved the atmosphere with tunes on vinyl and indoor/outdoor nooks to hang.

Best café for 100 miles around… I know because I’ve traveled over 100 miles away and there wasn’t anything. A regular weekly/daily visit there is necessary to keep up moral! Best iced Caffè Americano ever!

Just a great little café for lunch. I had the avocado and sprout sandwich and it was delicious. Left with a cappuccino that was a little too wet for my taste, but still very good. Definitely check it out if you are in the area.

As a Brooklynite for 48 years, my coffee hipster credentials are solid, and so is Café Duet. Stumptown byotches! Created properly and the café vibe is most legit. Very tasty sandwiches. Hip, laidback café atmosphere with pleasant baristas and vinyl records spun. Lovely back garden. If this place was in Bklyn, it will smoke every other café. Not kidding.

Pros: (+) Excellent coffee! (+) Nice décor (+) Friendly staff (+) Backyard Garden (+) Farmers Market that take place Saturday mornings Cons: (-) None! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I stopped by for my morning coffee Saturday mornings since there is the local Farmers Market that takes place right in front of the café every Saturday morning till 12pm. Have your coffee… take a walk around the Farmer’s Market for fresh baked goods… and enjoy it with your coffee. You will not be disappointed with any of the baked goods. Love me some fresh made croissant with their coffee! It’s a perfect combination! Yes, I’m in love. They have a backyard garden that is so cute and a perfect place to have a cup and chat with friends. Cheers!

This is a wonderful little café in a cool college town. The coffee is top tier, the music is on vinyl. Tattoos are welcome. I had an iced Americano and it was everything I could ask for. Can get to be a bit of a wait at busy times, but relax and enjoy. Some outdoor seating available in the warmer months.
